"06/06/21 re. 06/05/21 dinner at Pino's Cucina in Ladera Ranch, CA Found this place by internet search, good reviews and sounded nice so decided to try it. They take reservations which I really appreciate. My husband and I took my parents, and were greeted warmly by a gentleman who told us to choose any table we would like (it was early and we were the only ones there at the time). We sat at a booth and were immediately asked about beverages. The booth was spacious with black linen table cloth and cloth napkins. The restaurant seemed to be well organized and very clean. I liked the menu which offered lots of choices with a nice description of each item. The service was attentive and I would say great except that the waiter who took over after the beverages were brought, though he did provide satisfactory service was not especially pleasant. The other staff there were warm and pleasant. The meals arrived in an appropriate amount of time and were nicely presented. I chose their Pasta Trio which allows you to select 3 different pastas (some restrictions). Great idea and all three of my selections were delicious! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I thought the food was exceptional and the prices reasonable. I have to say that the interior design/decor isn't my favorite. It's obvious they've tried to make it aesthetically pleasing, but to me seemed a little stark and bland in mostly cream to beige tones. All in all though it was a terrific meal and a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely go back."

"Overall, this restaurant has potential. I ordered a calzone for takeout and found it to be very flavorful. If my review were based solely on the food, I would give it four stars. However, service is also a crucial factor, which is why I can't fully recommend this place. Here's my experience: I placed a takeout order and noticed they had two locations listed—one at 377 Broadway and the other at 100 Broadway. I chose the closer location at 377. Upon arrival, I was puzzled because the name on the building didn't match what I expected. After ten minutes of wandering around looking for the restaurant, I decided to drive to the second address, which turned out to be the correct one. When I arrived there, I tried to explain to what I believe was the owner that their online information was incorrect (I work in communications, so this is something I take seriously). It seemed that many people, myself included, were being directed to the wrong address. However, the owner insisted that it wasn’t an issue since the 377 location was an old one. He even printed out a receipt showing the old address as if that proved his point. I struggled to convey that having the wrong address online was causing confusion and frustration for customers, including myself, and it led to a lengthy argument about the issue. Unfortunately, he seemed unable to understand how critical this problem was. As I mentioned, the food is promising, and I'm willing to give them another opportunity. However, I sincerely hope he reads this review and understands my concerns. If he doesn't address this issue, he risks losing customers who may not be as forgiving as I am."
