"I 've been coming here occasionally for several years and have always found it a little pricey but fun and well stocked. Not a fan of the premade subs and not being able to order the menu at the counter. But the most recent visit here was very disappointing. It 's clear this place isn 't tightly managed, and a lot of things seem not quite up to par. First of all, I didn 't see any prices at the deli for the meats. I also didn 't see a price for the bread. The containers holding the bread (which is actually very good) were just resting on a wooden platform, and when I opened the bread case it caused the whole case to slide and almost fall off the platform. Little details like that. The real issue though was ordering Italian meats at the deli counter. No mortadella by the way, which was disappointing. I got a very nice senior man who unfortunately could not apparently hear well. I had to repeat each item several times. That 's alright. But when I got the meats home they were all sliced way too thick, even the prosciutto. He even showed me a slice of a soppressata and I think was saying the meat would shred if it was thinner. So maybe their slicers aren 't kept sharp? The coppa I ordered was unpleasantly porky and very salty without much flavor. Not a high quality product. The San Danielle prosciutto (which they misspelled on the label) had a slight off flavor. First time I 've ever just not eaten prosciutto. That and the coppa were not good enough to eat. Then the nice old man tried to fit my long stem artichokes in a small container and was going to cut the stems off because they didn 't fit, which I told him not to do. Someone told him to use a tall container. When I got home I found that the artichokes were labeled as some expensive cheese and more than double what I should have paid. The price stickers even don 't show prices per pound. Fortunately I called and they did refund the whole price of the artichokes/ cheese. However, this was a very subpar experience for an Italian deli. The meats are just sitting in the case, not wrapped, not priced (if there are prices posted they 're not obvious). Don 't like the label not even showing the unit price. It feels like quality and attention to detail here have slipped. I 'm not sure if I 'll be back."
