"I was excited to dine here after seeing reviews about the diner on TikTok. However, I left feeling very disappointed. There was a long wait time for orders to be placed and there was only one server working an entire section on their own. We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls as an appetizer which was $18 but consisted of 2 egg rolls cut into two, which is not worth that price. I ordered one of the panini’s and the cheese was not at all melted. After receiving our food, the server never came back to check on us. The server disappeared for a long time and only came back to give us the check. The food overall was not worth the cost I would not recommend dining here."

"I went here with my friends for lunch. I ordered a sandwich. It was a delicious sandwich. Although, there was one problem. The tomato. Now, don 't get me wrong; I love a good tomato. But this tomato, this one tomato in particular.... I don 't know what I didn 't like about it. maybe it was the seasoning? The flavor? I 'm not sure... All I knew was that it was too big. I took a bite out of the sandwich, and I got the entire tomato. It was too chewy. I couldn 't swallow it. I decided to just keep chewing it until I could. But it was not long until the horrors of the tomato caught up to me. It engulfed my mouth, resulting in pure agony. I continued chewing the tomato. I began to feel physically ill from this tomato. I couldn 't bear it a second longer. My life flashed before my eyes and I saw God. But most of all, I saw the tomato. The tomato angelically perambulated towards me and told me this was the end whilst slowly caressing the rest of the sandwich in my hand. I knew what had to be done. Tears flowed out of my eyes as I approached the nearest trash can. The light became brighter and brighter. I saw myself run towards the trash can. I watched as I spit the tomato inside. I could hear the words of the tomato: 'you did good ' Finally, I was free from torture. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good. 10/10 would come again."

"Delicious, hot and great quality. We ordered a basic pancake meal with, eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, and a veggie skillet. The pancakes are not pictured because they came out later, but they were yummy, the batter was good, and the pancakes were fluffy. The pancakes here are dense, so be aware that you may not finish them."

"We went to Monte’s for dinner after a stressful day of travel. We could not have been more pleased. Jovan, our waiter, was knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful. Everything we had was delicious. We particularly loved the seafood appetizer. We asked for spoons to finish every drop of the delicious broth! One of my sisters was delayed in travel and Jovan packed food to go with plates and silverware for them. Highly recommend both the food and the service."

"We love coming to this restaurant after church for a late breakfast or lunch on Sundays. It's our go-to spot, especially for my 8-year-old who asked to go there today in mid-May. With a large family, it's sometimes hard to find a place where everyone can find something they like on the menu, but Leo's always delivers. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is quick but not rushed. The servers are always friendly and attentive. It's a casual spot perfect for family outings. We've been here countless times and have never had a negative experience. We are thrilled that they have reopened and highly recommend it. Don't miss out on trying the Pita bread - it's delicious!"

"This place is always bustling and offers delicious, fresh, and hot bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They have a wide selection of salads, cream cheeses, and deli sandwiches. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can be quite pricey and the service could use some improvement. Paying $6.75 for an everything bagel with a requested spread of vegetable cream cheese seems outrageous. I understand that food prices are rising, but that's still pretty steep. However, if you find yourself in Long Beach and are craving a quality breakfast sandwich or a fresh bagel, this is the spot to visit. I would come back, but I hope they reconsider their pricing and service."

"An International Foodie Pal suggested hitting this spot before I left NYC. I had a Salami and Extra Fried Egg Bagel with Lettuce, Tomato, and American Cheese. A meal comes with coffee or tea and there is a slight upcharge for iced coffee. They have Splenda or sugar for sweeteners and offer milk or Land O Lakes Half and Half for creamers. This is a tiny luncheoette and I'm not sure what the seating capacity is. I arrived around 8:45 AM and just missed the crowds waiting outside. There is no way a wheelchair can access this restaurant and if partially mobile there really isn't anywhere to keep a wheelchair or wheeled walker on the floor while you dine. There is one table for two where the two counters meet and perhaps a wheeled walker could fit there. So long as you have partial mobility you can walk through the edges of the counter seats. I didn't go to the bathroom as it seemed like a tight zig zag to the kitchen and my hotel happened to be in walking distance. Very friendly and fast service. Credit cards need a 10.00 USD minimum but there is an ATM machine outside. With my add on orders my meal went over 10.00 but even with tip was well under 20.00 USD. You pay at the register where they have your meal tickets for check out.Kid-friendliness: You can't really fit someone in a stroller here. it's a small space to absorb noise. But a well behaved child or youth can sit on the stools. Pancakes and French Toast are on the menu as well as other options."

"Update 6/26/22: We've frequented this restaurant quite a bit, mostly for breakfast. The food is wonderful—it really has that home-cooked taste, and I mean that in the best possible way. The value is outstanding; even with prices going up everywhere, this place remains budget-friendly. The staff is very friendly, and they've consistently gotten our orders right. They even pay attention to the comments we include with our orders. We have absolutely no complaints. Thank you for being so fantastic!"

"Loved it. Very satisfying, warm bagel sandwich to-go plus a coffee. Hard to go wrong if you're on the go. Fast service and plenty of options to choose from. There may be a line extending to outside if you decide to try this place during busy hours.I got a basic sausage, egg, and cheese on a toasted whole wheat everything bagel and it was delicious. I wasn't asking for much, just satiation, and it hit the spot exactly.There's really not much more to add. The service was fast and friendly. The prices didn't break my bank account. I'd recommend it. If you want to stop here to eat, there may be a free patio table out front if you're lucky. Otherwise, get your sandwich or bagel and go!4.5/5 stars from me."

"meet meat in the meeting street. since the 80s we are here, and it remains one of the best sandwich spots in providence with very favorable trips for high quality food. the sandwiches are huge and enveloped with meat, so they get a half, unless they want to share it or take it home. delicious desserts are also gigantic and beat everything they can get at one of the overrated cupcake extravaganzas. would be great if they finally expanded and went into the city."

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"I scouted this place alone to sample the food service/ to find a new weekly lunch meeting joint for a large group of traveling colleague. Here was my experience I ordered a salad asking to exclude any onions,,, my waitress brought the salad with a large amount of onions piled on top of it. I did not see my waitress after dropping off my order. Not once to ask if I needed anything in the 30 minutes I was there. I had to flag down a busboy for napkins and then walk to the front reception to request my check when I completed my meal. I was given a single napkin with my meal order. That’s what I said, a single napkin. No tables had any napkin dispensers on them, including my own. The turkey cranberry panini sandwich was a disappointment. It was basically a turkey sandwich slightly toasted. I talked to the manager after my meal to relay my experience I wasn’t met with a sincere understanding of my experience- instead my bill was credited a couple of bucks. I think I will pass and continue looking for a new place."

"This place just served me the most vile $14 chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Like monumentally bad. Lowkey deserves and award for being so bad. Tasted kinda like sewer water and burnt bread. I was starving real bad so I did eat half of it, except for the parts of it that were hard as a rock and I would have needed a dentist appointment if I attempted to bite any harder. As a matter of fact I was today years old when I learned grilled chicken could possibly be hard enough to shatter a window. Not sure if it was just old or my guy cooked it too long in the microwave. "I was going to give 1 star but since they at least tried with the vegan menu I 'll make an exception and give 2 1/2 stars. After all the vegan menu is the reason why i came here. Other things led up to the low star rating. Let 's start from the beginning. Arrived around 6pm and there was only a few tables, not busy at all. Seated quickly which was nice. Drink order was takenquickly. Our waitress seemed nice, but a little off though. Couldn 't tell if she was just extremely tired or her feethurt..idk but she was off and kept leaning forward like she was going to fall asleep. Anyway..moving on. After we ordered wewaited for the soup appetizer. My wife ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and I ordered the barley soup but it actually waslentil soup that she brought out. Ok, maybe she thought it was called barley?? Idk but lentils and barley are not the same thinglol! Anywho...I 'm told by my partner that the cheesesteak egg rolls were interesting The Asian mixed with the cheesesteak wasweird but still good. The dips they paired with them were even stranger...BBQ sauce and sweet sour...hmmm why not pair it witha cheese dip?? Just a thought. Next, while waiting for our order it was starting to get busy. People being seated, some orderstaken and a few not. Two tables next to us were waiting a while before anyone even took their order. The family at one tablefinally got up and left because they got tired of waiting then the next family followed after that. It took quite a while for usto get our food too. In the meantime the waitress never came back to refill our drinks or even check on us. We had to wave herdown and ask for refills. When the food came it looked good visually. Taste was a different story. I ordered the vegan chicken marsala and it was weird. The plant based chicken they used was breaded and had an Asian flavor to it and was so overcooked Icould barely cut it leaving it inedible.The sauce was eh..different and the mushrooms were clearly"
