"Every time I am in the city, I have to get my Schnippers. So yesterday was no exception. I had been out drinking all night to celebrate St Patricks day and a promotion at work. Sunday morning was one of those mornings when you wake up in your hungover state of mind and you need one of those amazing hangover cures known as a big giant burger. So I came in after waking up somewhere around 4pm on Sunday morning and fumbled down the street. Looking for a burger I fumbled by shake shack and decided it was too darn cold. Then it came to me that I had not made my way into Schnippers in about a month. So now I had to go in and get down to Business. I got in and was greeted by the most friendly staff at the register. She took my order of a bacon cheese burger and fries. I found the perfect seat by the window and waited for the food to come out. There were a lot of people in due to St Patricks day, so I knew there would be a wait. The food came out and the burger was actually missing the bacon which was ok! It was super busy. So I politely walked up, and told them. We all had a good laugh about it and they got us the bacon and put it onto our burger which was a super simple mistake when its busy and an easy fix. When I bit into the burger, it was amazing. Everything I had hoped for. I left feeling recharged, cured of my hangover and amazingly happy after all of that. I was so glad that they took such good care of me despite being super busy. I will be back for more. of these amazing burgers and fries! Good times!"

"We enjoyed the **DELICIOUS** Ybor Eggrolls, very good garlic Parmesan Wings, the Lightning Blue Burger, the **FLAVORFUL** Havana Bowl, and a delightful Chocolate Martini. I have no complaints about the food; everything was fresh, hot, and tasty, served by a friendly and attentive young woman. Be sure to check out the pictures. **WEEKLY SPECIALS** include: Seminole Game Days with Fireball shots, Bud Buckets, and $6 nachos; Monday to Saturday HAPPY HOUR from 4 PM to 7 PM with discounts on wines and well drinks, plus 25% off appetizers; and on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, it’s TRIVIA NIGHT with craft beer and $1 wings. On Fridays from 7 PM to close, Game Day specials offer shots, drinks, and $6 nachos. The **AMERICAN FARE MENU** features 9 starters, 8 wing flavors (all wings are marinated overnight in mojo, garlic, and oregano), 10 salads, 4 kids' meals for those 12 and under, 11 sandwiches, 4 poutines, 3 half-pound Angus Burgers, 1 Turkey Burger, 5 bowls, and 9 other dishes, including a soup of the day. **YELP FREEBIE:** There’s a complimentary drink with your check-in, but we couldn’t use it because there was no Wi-Fi during our entire visit. Our waitress confirmed that Wi-Fi is available, but we had difficulties, even though we typically have few problems with Verizon. Unfortunately, we couldn’t access the internet anywhere within or immediately outside the restaurant. Really? There are 20 beers on tap, 11 from local craft breweries. **HERE'S THE DRINK MENU:** 6 Lite Drafts, 5 Hoppy Beers, 2 Dark Beers, 3 Sweet Options, 13 cans and bottles, 12 cocktails, 2 Martinis, 3 shots, 11 red wines, 9 white wines, and 5 Premium Wells. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the AdventHealth Center Ice, which opened in 2017 and is the largest ice facility in the Southeast. As you enter the arena, you immediately notice that familiar locker room/ice rink smell. Upon reaching the restaurant on top of the two ice rinks, we couldn’t help but acknowledge the aroma. The decor is quite bare; little has changed since we entered the restaurant, aside from a central bar area. A sign above the bar reads “21 and over.” The same concrete flooring used in the arena is found throughout the restaurant, and the table surfaces are akin to the floor. There are fifteen TVs adorning the walls, and tables by the glass windows overlook the ice rink. While we dined, two high school hockey teams were practicing on the ice. Many parents were in the restaurant, while others gathered outside, watching another group of young players on the rink just below the railing. You can make reservations online and use the Toast app for online orders. Gift cards are available ranging from $10 to $500. Guests can sign up for the Top Shelf Rewards Program online and earn 1 point for every dollar spent. After accumulating 250 points, you receive a $25 discount. Will I return? Absolutely! As a girl from Maine who grew up watching her high school team twice a week, I can’t think of a better combination than hockey and great food!"

"Great new bakery, perfect for hiking supplies! (4/5 Green Stars Downsides first: the layout could be improved and the young chap who served me was a bit surly – but neither of these things bothered me (and the chap was fast : . The coffee and pastries were both very good and I’m wavering between 4 and 5 stars, but I’m going to go for 5 stars because prices were reasonable and it’s really one of the best places that I know of within a radius of a 2 or 3 miles – that’s the approx. distance to La Farine or Timeless Coffee ; And speaking of La Farine, I think my plain croissant from L’acajou was every bit as good as theirs. (Perhaps Andrew C. visited on an off-day. Their cookies were pretty good, but the standouts for me were the cheddar chipotle biscuit and the banana bread – both very memorable. Also – organic, fair-trade coffee for around $2? Yes please! I’m also giving them 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on these reasons: •Nomadic Coffee: All of the coffee is organic, most is fair trade certified, and some is even Smithsonian bird-friendly (that’s pretty much the highest sustainability standard for coffee . Nomadic seem like a good bunch. •Waste minimization at L’acajou was pretty good. I had my own cup but forgot to notice if there was a cup discount. •Decent selection of vegetarian options, and a vegan salad. •They do seem to use organic quinoa and greens for some of their veggie options."
