"Where to start. The waitress was not very nice. For some reason she just did not like us. I asked for soup and said if i try to eat my husband salad then i will be charged. Cause they charge per person. Then when my soup came out she looked to see if I was eating my husband salad. She didn’t asked if i wanted any cheese on my soup and only asked if my husband wanted cheese on his spaghetti. So no tip for her. I had to get the manager to assist us."

"I had the pleasure of having a phone interview with the general manager, Tom, who made a significant impression on me. I performed well during the interview, which took place just before Christmas on December 25, 2023. I've been a loyal fan of Olive Garden for the past 12 years, visiting numerous locations, even when I lived in Eugene, Oregon. The reason I moved to Cape Coral with my adopted family was to be closer to their Italian relatives. I cherish the time spent here, although leaving Oregon in December 2019—after a long 3,000-mile drive to Florida—was bittersweet. Despite some challenging experiences along the way, I feel grateful to have settled in Florida. A little about me: I was adopted in 1994 from a European orphanage, thanks to the generous donations of professional athletes who helped fund my journey to the United States. I'm now in my 30s, and I turn 36 on April 11, 2024. I want to commend the entire team, especially Tom, for their dedication to providing excellent service and for treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. My last name is Italian, and I truly appreciate the warmth and sense of community here in Cape Coral. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas today, December 25, 2023. "Soup, Salad, and Breadsticks! Overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious and quite filling for a reasonable price. We also ordered a Strawberry Margarita and a Green Apple Moscato Sangria, both of which were enjoyable. Our server, Yara, was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. We requested a booth, and the hostess graciously accommodated our request after we were initially seated at a table. The dining area was clean and well-maintained. The only downside was that there was an unusual smell when we first entered the restaurant, as if the carpets needed to be cleaned. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our lunch and would definitely return."

"This location has gone down hill ever since (gm) Jessica left. Our last visit I watched a family of 4 walk out after an hour, only served drinks and a free appetizer. You can see patrons getting angry that drinks, bread, and salad was taking to long. Free wine samples haven't been offered in our last 5 trips, thinking they stopped offering it. The average plate is now 20 bucks for poorly microwaved pasta. Won't be going to olive garden as much as we used to."

"When I arrived, I had to wait briefly to be seated at a table, but there were open seats at the bar. I decided to sit at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice. The noise level at the bar was much lower, so I could hear my dining companion without struggling to communicate. I didn't have to raise my voice for them to hear me. Our server at the bar provided excellent service, and the food was, as always, quite enjoyable."

"Went here with a group of friends after visiting kings island for the day. We came about an hour and a half or so before close but the staff was very nice and accommodating despite the lateness. We sat at the bar while waiting for a table and the bartender was very helpful in picking out good drinks. Our server Christian (hope I’m spelling that right was awesome too. He helped us in picking our appetizers and gave us a lot of good recommendations on the food. He also was very friendly and joked around with us while we figured out what to order. Everything ended up being amazing, i personally had the seafood fettuccine and loved it so much. Overall great experience and good quality food, very happy with it all :"

"On a Friday night, we arrived at 7:30 and were told 45 minutes. We waited and waited while many others actually came after and were seated....and even ate and left! We were extremely patient. We asked, checked twice. We were told the next table was ours and yet it wasn't till 9:30 that we were sat. The waiter was adorable but soooo slow. Even when we were finished and waiting for dessert to be boxed up, it took 20 minutes.Never once did the 4 people at the front desk apologize or offer any kind of reasoning that we were overlooked. We weren't an oversized uncommon party size. It was just bad service.Food was a step up from fast food. Portions were large. Every one of us took food home.I understand Friday nights are busy. I don't understand the picking and choosing who gets to go when. They knew who had reservations and who didn't when they told us 45 min. It took 2 hours to seat us. Had the young adults in our group not insisted on staying, suggesting ordering a pizza to be delivered while we waited, I would have left! And no, we didn't order a pizza but that wasn't a bad idea."

"I came to the end of the day (9:40 o'clock or so) my server grant was very attentive and informed about the menu. He gave me some food and drink recommendations. I ordered the aubergine parmigiana, the chicken and gnocchi soup and the Italian rum punch. I loved the suppe as usual, the auberginen parmigiana was good, but the pasta sauce just tasted. I didn't care about the Italian punch, but I don't like to **** and the amaretto is strong. they have these digital screens where they can order food, play and call their server. overall a good experience."

"my man and I decided to make a Valentine's Day today, so it wasn't so busy that vs tried to fight the mass on the actual Valentine's Day. the waiting time was minimal. the staff seemed more interested in talking and laughing together than one of the waiting staff had a friend / husband at the front where she kissed on the podium. I think it could be done either outside or somewhere else, then where everyone in the door (which is great, but not if they diner mainly 2 different large groups of 7 and 10 people waiting for tables) they had 1 person busing table that could be easily fixed to my opinion by 2-3 of people just standing around chatting got the big tables to sit much faster (who told me that it would be 35 min. as soon as we set ourselves. the waitress came our whole order with drinks from the bar and apps. we ordered Alfredo sauce. they didn't bring the 1st any drinks or broth sticks. we looked at the sauce for 10min before the waitress came back with our drinks. all in all, it was a great time because we could sit together as my man works from the city to work. they need a little more structure to be done with customers from beginning to end. we left our waitress a 20% tip because we understand that even if their employees do a subpart job that does not mean that the one who does the best they should suffer"

"We were absolutely delighted with the outstanding service at Olive Garden! During our visit to Elkhart for my daughter's swim meet, I wanted to organize a last-minute pasta party for her birthday. Despite it being a busy Saturday evening, the manager and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Although they typically require at least four hours' notice for large takeout orders, they managed to put everything together in just an hour and a half! The food was delicious, and we ended up having an incredible impromptu pasta party for the swimmers. Thank you so much to the manager and staff at Olive Garden!"

"Had dinner with my large family tonight. A challenge with 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 small children. We also split the check 3 ways. The team handled everything so well! All our food was delicious, and we all had plenty of left offers to take home. The kids loved the games on the tablets. Our server David did well. The manager checked in to make sure we were doing well.Bailey, a server from the section next to us, noticed how large our group was so she decided to check on us every single time she passed by on her way to and from her multiple tables. She grabbed quite a few things for us and helped with serving all the food and grating cheese on everything. We made sure to tip her in addition to our server. She tried to refuse, because she wasn't our server. She was so great and made it more enjoyable so we insisted she keep it. Bailey deserves a raise or promotion for taking the initiative and helping her co-workers while expecting nothing in return. We definitely will return!"

"The restaurant was quite crowded, but our server was exceptionally attentive. The sangria had a strong cranberry juice flavor, which I didn't find appealing. However, the watermelon margarita was enjoyable. I wasn't a fan of the lasagna fritta appetizers, although my husband liked them. The stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari were tasty. The new loaded tortilla chips were packed with jalapeños. On the bright side, the roasted beef ravioli was very good."

"Dining at this restaurant was particularly uncomfortable, especially considering the air conditioning wasn’t working. It was quite warm when we arrived, but I initially brushed it off. Then I noticed the entire staff was wearing fans around their necks, yet they acted as if everything was perfectly fine. I finally asked our lovely waiter about the fans, and she revealed that they hadn’t had a functioning AC for almost three weeks and were waiting for corporate to fix it. Can you imagine? We live in Florida, and last week the temperature hit 110°F! It honestly frustrates me that Olive Garden treats their employees this way. In a world where comfort should be a given, it’s unacceptable that they leave their staff without proper air conditioning for such an extended period."

"I am very disappointed that I must leave this review. my daughter and I love going to olive garden and most of the time we have a nice experience. I'm pretty sure we were prejudiced when we came as a few karens, but we never had the opportunity to prove anything else, even if we tried to hire our server, the few paints we saw him. we sat on the smallest table at the place which would have been good if the rest of the visit had been good. a table of 5 was placed right next to us after we had been there about 10 minutes. the table had drinks before we were ever greeted. my daughter ordered a drink that was not full and was very weak. the entrée was served after just a few sips suppe. I had ordered the suppe, salat and brotsticks, but was not able to eat the salat for any dental work. the server said he would pack it for me to take home. we also ordered a prise suppe to go. at the end of the meal we waited one for the order. when it finally came, there was no salat and no small bag for the remaining broth sticks. we tried to pay the scary with the breeding at the table, but it didn't work. we wanted to call the server, but nobody came. we took the leak to the front counter, but couldn't pay there. they called a server they thought for us, but he came up, said that is not my table and went away. another server came by and asked for the check. he saw who was the right server and called him. we finally got to pay and go. there were other problems, but the review will be too long."
