"I recently born in Lola?s Coney for a surprise for husband Detroit husband. My husband and I knew their coney dogs were authentic Detroit coney! The team was so easy to work and super sensitive to my need to text instead of call (because of the surprise factor) and helped me through how many Coney dogs she recommended I order the size of the party. They led until and on the day of the party, they were in constant contact, confirmed my order and then communication arrival time. They were so kind to wait a few extra minutes after the surprise was over to run for me and get the food! (Surprise Party Timelines never go as planned). The big kicker was when the food was handed over to me, they shared that they included some better made chips because they knew it was a birthday party and that was the birthday boy of Detroit. When I came in, I realized that they had provided me two boxes with so many different flavors of Better Made. The food was a hit and we turned many people into Koney-Hund lovers, like they did?d never the delicious Detroit treat before. I have to say that the most rewarding part of the party heard that all of the Detroit-born family members about the authenticity of Koneys for this detroit theme birthday rave. If you are from Detroit or have ever eaten a Koney dog in Detroit, you need to make your way to Lola?s. Your food is amazing. If you? re ever recommend hosting a party Lola?s. Your customer service was excellent, super helpful as I shared my budget and guest list about what I need, and everything came ready to go and was a big hit!"

"Positive rant incoming... This is by far my favorite location for hookah medditeraintin food! I have been to many places that have hookah and they often seem to have it as an after thought or a side hustle. Dont get me wrong, some of them have good hookahs but I am looking for the whole package with the enviornment, atmosphere food. When they were closed for the quarenteen they underwent a massive remodel expansion. When they opened back up, there was so much foot traffic that to me it had turned into another one of the local dive bars with people packed in elbow to elbow. It lost that local home grown vibe energy that I have come to love for well over 15years. I tried to revisit several times with the same result. I have to admit this turned me off for several years. I do have to respect the business decision behind this however. Cut to this past weekend, I had family in town and they asked where the best hookah place was. I was hesitant but figured it had been long enough and would give Casbah another try. As soon was we came around the corner, the hostess saw me and ran right up to me and gave me the biggest hug like I was a long lost family member. She asked where I had been for the past several years! I must have spent a half hour talking to her catching up right there at the front booth. After that, I walked inside and felt the home grown warmth that I remembered. When looking for my family, my favorite bartended in ALL of Jax locked eyes with me. She too came and asked where I had been for the past several years. It was so good to be back that I forgot about taking pictures. I will update soon. To Casah directly, I am so sorry that I abandoned you! I am back, the slower chill crowd is back, we are back!"

"UPDATE: I never heard back from the manager or anyone at all. Since I have to work whenever I'm available, I wasn't able to physically drive back there that week. But why wasn't there a note left for the manager about what happened to follow up on this when they got in? This place was really great when it first opened. Speaking from experience as an F&B Hospitality Consultant, I know for a fact that the little issues often ripple out, making bigger problems, which in turn often lead to that restaurant not succeeding. I did really enjoy this in the past.Original post: Why isn't there at least an assistant manager on duty who can take care of problems when they arise? I ordered one thing and it was wrong. Twice ?. The second one I didn't notice until I was all the way back home. I ordered online through the Google Maps app, tapped on Lefty's, and then hit the order online button. I followed the prompts, made sure NOT TO ADD ANY ONIONS, then added a side of curly fries, paid online with a credit card, and went to pick it up. The price was different than what I had on my screen, and I didn't think it was mine because of that. It turned out to be mine, though. I left, got a little bit down the road, and found no fries, only mozzarella sticks (they make me sick). I turned around, got my fries after a minute, and went home. Only to find mass amounts of onions mixed into the cheese and meat. I tried to dig them out and gave up. I don't know about you, but once you've dug your fingers all through something like this, it's a nope for me. I'm not into finger food that's cold because you had to dig your fingers through it in order to make it correctly. Now, I have to spend more of my time and resources to drive up there and hopefully get this fixed? That's if I have time. Let us hope that the employee I spoke with leaves a note for the manager. Idk what happened in the past so many months, but it's not what it was when it opened."
