"Wow! The hotel is located at Lawrence Shopping Centre. The complex is now under new ownership, and they've made some improvements, bringing in new retailers. This pizzeria has been around for 30 years, as long as I can remember. The restaurant is family-run, with a father and son working on-site, and they are incredibly friendly and personal. Their menu features high-quality items that go beyond just typical pizza. Be sure to try the NY Strip, Vodka Rigatoni, and Panini Sandwiches. There's plenty of parking available, and it's ADA-compliant. They also have two dining rooms suitable for private events."

"It’s a diner. I hold a bias against diners. A lot of food, not a lot of quality. I have been here twice and will likely go back. Not because of the atmosphere, service, or food, nope it is a diner, and it smells and feels like one. I’m sure you know what I mean. 60-year vintage diner furniture, smell of burned oil and “oldness.” I’ll go back, mainly because the crew likes diners and sometimes you don’t get your way. The place is cleanish (it’s a diner), the service is good, and the food is better than I expected."

"Well, I don't know about the other items on the menu. However, I ordered the chicken masala with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach. The chicken masala was some sort of rubbery meat swimming in a pint of oil(lard? , NOT SAUCE OR GRAVY. The spinach was entirely a bunch of spinach strings(no leafs . The reheated potatoes were not much better with large chunks left unmashed. Clearly, the cook did not do a good job. $25.00 plus tip in the garbage. One last observation: While waiting, I saw 3 or 4 people send their food back for one reason or another."

"I recently visited this amazing deli on a trip to visit my daughter at Columbia University. First, the staff was very welcoming and so very friendly. The food was amazing. I got the triple decker turkey club and it was literally the freshest club I've ever eaten. This establishment represents everything a 5 start small buisness should represent. I also visited IL Panino PIzzaria beside it and the pizza was absolutely delicious. This will be my go to stop when visiting NYC."

"We've ordered from Roma multiple times and have always been satisfied, but today was a different story. We ordered a jumbo shrimp platter with fries, breaded mushrooms, and a ham and cheese sub with extra meat. The total for the meal, including tip, came to $54. Unfortunately, the sub was quite disappointing; it had very little meat, and the "ham" tasted terrible—more like ham bologna. For $13.98, I received just five small butterfly shrimp and a small portion of fries. I'm not sure what's happening with Roma, but I don't think I'll be ordering from them again."

"Fantastic breakfast spot! I can't comment on the rest of the menu since we always come here for breakfast, but the service is exceptional and their breakfast deals are unbeatable. I always order the same meal because it's delicious and an incredible value! My husband has tried several different items, particularly loves their omelets, and everything we've had is excellent. "Slices are filling and service is fast and friendly... as for the discs. the dough is dense, so expect a heavy slice. Kruste is not thick, but also dense.. The dough is resistant to chewing. Sauce is wet and on saucy side... but not as tasty as I want. Cheese is abundant with beautiful train and chewing. I filled mine with some pepper flakes and oregano and it tasted perfect. Pro Tip: Ask for lunch special: 2 slices and a can soda $6."

"I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an egg bagel with salt and pepper, but when I got home I found that I had been given a BLT on an everything bagel with no salt or pepper. I'm not sure what happened, as I usually don't have any issues when I come here and the food is usually good. This time was disappointing, and although I was too hungry to go back and fix it, I may have to reconsider this as my go-to breakfast spot in the future."

"Update: still one of the better Diners in the area. People are still super friendly and helpful. I believe the staff is what makes the diner here. Food is always still on point. Great food and great staff. Me and my sister got the Texas burger and the stack of Pancakes to split and do a little sweet and savory. The Pancakes were so fluffy and delicious, better than ihops I would say. They were big and very filling. The burger was a little dry but still good. The waiter and the rest o the staff were very friendly and attentive"

"This was my first visit and I was very pleased with the food and the service. Everyone as friendly and we were greeted as we approached the counter. It's a seat yourself environment so nothing crazy as you walk through the door, just head to the counter and order. The food came out hot and fresh. The portion sizes were more than enough to be full and grab a to-go box worth. The men's bathroom smelled and looked clean. Most restaurants miss the mark on either of those but this one did not. 10/10 would recommend!"

"In June 2020, my partner and I found ourselves in need of a meal one evening. We decided to try a new restaurant or support a local family-owned establishment. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service over the phone from Laurie. We placed an order for the beef brisket dinner with fries and macaroni and cheese. To our delight, the food arrived in just 25 minutes, much quicker than the estimated 45 minutes. This speedy delivery was a pleasant surprise as we were quite hungry. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the exceptional service from the person who delivered our meal, who we believe was named Dawn. Good luck to the restaurant!"

"We went to Brunch on Saturday. The menu was small and I didn’t really find any of the options that appetizing. Then you had to scan the QR code on the menu for their specials which still didn’t add much to the menu. I understand that they have a more extensive menu for Sunday brunch but there should still be decent options for Saturday as well. I got the cowboy something, which was basically chilli with eggs on top, it was decent, I can’t complain about the quality of food. The worse part was the music was so loud I couldn’t hear the people at my table. It felt unnecessary for it to be that loud on a Saturday morning. The service was also just awkward, it’s hard to explain but the server just kept asking us ‘are you guys good?’, when it was obvious that we were ready for our checks or ready to order or done and needed our plates cleared . It’s just an awkward way to be asked things. Overall it was a mid experience. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from going here but I also wouldn’t suggest it."

"I had a great experience with the $20 breakfast at this restaurant! The owner might have had a bit of an attitude, but the food was absolutely delicious. "I would rate this place as a 3.5 stars. I might consider returning if the food tasted better. I ordered a cheeseburger, but was surprised to find that it only came with one bun, cheese, and a patty. It was served with a side of small pickles and coleslaw. I wasn't expecting any fancy sides like French fries, but I have never had a cheeseburger without lettuce, tomato, and pickles before at a restaurant. The iced coffee was decent, similar in taste to Dunkin' Donuts but cheaper at $3. Despite the name of the coffee shop, they didn't have any specialty coffee drinks, only regular brewed or iced coffee. There were some plastic pastries near the cash register. The restaurant has only 6 tables, so it is quite small, but not crowded."

"I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which arrived 16 minutes later. I was disappointed to find that it seemed to be a plain pizza that had been sitting out for a while, with pepperoni added on and reheated. The result was a greasy mess with lukewarm, raw pepperoni. When I tried to pull the slices apart, the cheese and pepperoni came off the adjacent slices. The sauce was lacking, and the dough and cheese seemed to be lower-quality, store-bought products. This pizzeria is not up to par. I ordered from the Slice app to try a new spot, but I regretted it. I will stick to Romano's as my go-to local pizzeria."
