"The beginning of the end for Togo's. Don't laugh. I ordered the very basic turkey cranberry on wheat. What was one a premiere place to go to, and I've been doing so for 30 something years and this store for my mom since she moved here, is now using the the watered down, ultra thin sliced turkey, much like you'd find in a gas station sandwich, although that might be an insult to some of the healthy sandwich providers I've seen lately. Zero flavor with an almost gag-reaction on my first bite. And the tomatoes... My grandfather was a farmer and grew organic tomatoes in his hydroponic quonset hut set up in the 1960's and onwards, what Togo's offers is near blasphemy. For what they charge, now $10.50 for a turk cranberry w/o cheese, you could go make this very same sandwich with ingredients from the FoodMaxx or the downtown Brentwood Safeway and have great sandwiches all week long. I've bought several different kinds of turkey from FoodMaxx, all 10 times better quality than I had on that sandwich. They've jumped the shark. Nothing to see here anymore. Move along... move along..."
