"1. There were several menu items we were looking forward to trying, such as the mills, ribs, and crab legs, but they were unavailable. Given the circumstances of Covid, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a distributor issue.
2. The online menu you access when seated did not reflect the actual prices charged. My steak dinner still rang up at a different price, and we were surprised by an unexpected fee for fries with the sandwich.
3. There is a $2 fee for credit card transactions—WOW. I have never encountered that before. They use Square for processing, which is typically more affordable than traditional payment processors, where fees for small transactions are usually around $0.50.
In summary, while we ended up paying just $4 more than we anticipated, it was still an unwelcome surprise that left us feeling a bit sour as we left. I’m not sure we would return anytime soon. I really wanted to love this place, especially since I saw it was a "woman-led" business on Google and I strive to support fellow women. However, I hope they can address the issues mentioned above.
