"Although we 've been here many times, this was our first time visit on a special occasion for their Mother 's Day brunch and all I can say is it was a fairly large disappointment for everyone in our party... The lack of attention to the food service being refilled was only overshadowed by the lack of quality of the food being refilled that I would equate to just below a mediocre 'included breakfast ' at a 3.5 star hotel with an added bonus of the extra long and slow waiting line you get with a very inexpensive wedding reception caterer... The only person that had a good time was our server that enjoyed a $50 tip for her visit to our table once with water (never to be refilled), once to deliver the ordered drinks and once again with our bill... I 'm sure that we 'll be returning on occasion, as we have in the past, but we won 't be enjoying any special occasions at Stanley 's anytime soon!"

"This place is unorganized. We went there the day before Thanksgiving and we knew there would be a wait, which is fine. They didn 't have a host seating anyone, so people with a parties of 2 were at tables for 4 or 6. It was ridiculous. The only tables left were tables for 2, and we had 3 people in our party. The girl working just said to try nextdoor and maybe they could seat us. We tried that and the host there looked super confused and said ummm ...left....then never returned. Didn 't even say what the wait would be. How can these restaurants be so clueless at the busiest bar night of the year? Also, all the workers were probably teenagers which is really odd. Not an adult in sight to run the business."

"Excellent and fast service, regardless of how busy they are! Recommend the bread pudding! Yesterday, my wife and I stopped by for a quick bite and a beer. We were literally the only customers there, but it was 4 PM on a Saturday. Obviously, service would be fast and it was. The staff was very friendly. Other days I've visited, they were much busier. Their service was equally fast and excellent as if I was the only customer. Their food was good. I had their fish and chips while my wife had their salad. Both were gone . Their bread pudding was also on-point."

"Oh my gosh, their chicken salad and fries were incredible! The only suggestion I have is that they should allow for a few minor tweaks when people place their orders. I’m not a fan of wheat bread and tomatoes, but the chicken salad was so delicious that I didn’t really mind. However, it probably would have been even better if I could have chosen my bread and left off the tomatoes."

"eating is really great for the price. I suggest trying the stuffed cookies and gravy. it is excellent with a side of hash browns on top service was great. the prices are good, always busy. they are only open from early morning from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. I think I'm just trying. You'll be happy you were good. that's my opinion anyway, and I'm staying with you."

"2023: We've had good experiences eating here in person a few times. Though one time a cook was using hash browns instead of bacon? Waitress was as confused as us. But they corrected that. 2021: Just had a doordash delivery. Missing sides, food was cold. $50 (including delivery) for 2 meals earned us enough jam for 1 half slice of bread. Food generally tasted good once warmed up, but you get very little for the cost compared to similar restaurants. Fruit cup was excellent, which just made it more annoying that I paid for 2 and only received 1."

"I visited Garrett’s with a group and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was quite busy, so I’m glad we made a reservation in advance. We started with the Haystack Onion Rings ($8.99) and the Crispy Dynamite Shrimp ($13.99). The shrimp was definitely my favorite; it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also ordered the Thai Chicken Chop Chop ($15.99) along with a New Zealand white wine. I wish I could remember its name because I really enjoyed it! I'm not a fan of sweet wines, and this one was nice and dry. The salad was also very delicious! It could use a few fewer wontons and a bit more sauce, but overall, I loved the flavors. The staff was friendly and patient, and the atmosphere was clean and well-decorated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Update 07/22 blandest breakfast i ever had. Nothing was seasoned. Wait staff inattentive, huddled behind the register for chitty chat. Husband said McDonald's would have been better. "This place is breakfast awesome!!! My boyfriend and I went there Saturday morning for breakfast. We had about a 2 minute wait. It was not too busy either. We started out ordering coffee, but then saw the breakfast alcohol menu. I got a regular Mamosis and the boyfriend got the beermosis. Blue Moon mixed with fresh oj, he loved it!!! Our food was so good and our service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back again!"

"Our first time going and it was $47 and some change for 2 meals, a nasty caramel cappuccino, and soda. The waitress that seated us was absolutely mean. I witnessed her and another lady arguing in the kitchen as soon as we enter the door, so she was already having a bad day. "Our team just left from Sunny Street Cafe about an hour ago. If I could leave zero stars I would. Our server, a middle-aged thin Caucasian woman with dark hair was absolutely horrible! She took nearly 15 minutes to take our food order, was unfriendly, and did not even bring over our one check for the table. Another server did. I cannot quite put my finger on but it was as if “she could not care to be bothered with our table.” It seems as though we missed the rush as there were plenty of empty tables when we arrived. The service was slow and subpar. We will NOT be returning. Consider hiring staff that at least pretend to like the job that they chose."

"First time visiting. Salad that came with the dinner and fries were good. The portion differences between the plates were very noticeable. We had 2 of the chicken friend steaks but one without gravy one with. The one without gravy took up half the plate. The one without was half the size with 2x the amount of gravy.. Catfish came out undercooked, didnt send it back because we were eating with a friend who bragged about the place. So wouldn't suggest that for anyone and compared to all other meals the portion was very small. On positive side my niece got the kids meal cheeseburger, which ended up with no cheese but got an ice cream sundae that made up for it. Will have to try it again on our next visit to town to hopefully have a better experience, it was an extremely busy day when we went."

"This restaurant used to be a favorite of ours, and I’m sharing this review for my dad. Unfortunately, he had the worst meal of his life today. He ordered the pot roast, but it turned out to be extremely dry, with low-quality meat that was quite tough. After expressing his disappointment to the friendly waitress, she kindly offered him a complimentary slice of cake. She was very nice, and the cake was actually quite good, which is why I gave it two stars. I've attached a photo that shows just how dry the pot roast was."

"If you have 2 hours to spare for mediocre food then go here. Took my family there on a Saturday evening we got seated quickly and our server was nice got our drinks and orders placed fairly quickly. 30 minutes later finally get our chips and queso appetizer. Fast forward another 35 minutes our entrees arrived, I had the shrimp tacos which was basically a cabbage taco with a few pieces of shrimp, rice and beans were bland and obviously out of a can or box. Another 30 minutes go by and our server finally comes back which I ask for the check to finally put an end to this disappointing experience. Little did I know I had to wait another 20 minutes for her to never come back until I had to chase down another server to get our check. I definitely don’t plan on returning."
