"Overall her experience was OK. The service was extremely slow and they were not overly busy. We waited more than a half an hour for cocktails. While waiting we asked for some bread for the table. When that wasn’t coming mins after sitting) we re-asked , they said they were warming the bread in the oven for us and had some cheesy response that were are in this experience together. When the bread finally came it was cold and barely enough for the table. When we ordered our meal, of ordered their steaks. When ordering steaks, we expect to get them the way we ordered them. were over cooked. I complained as mine was the most over cooked, as I ordered mine rare to rare+. It came out medium well. Barely any pink. The waiter want to argue with me that was rare+. He said that’s how I ordered it. Then he said the cook flipped it with my husbands order, however my husband ordered the same as me, and his was done perfectly. Then he said they thermometer check all their steaks. Which was it?…. Other than just a mistake I simply stated to him I’m not gonna debate with you. And I proceeded to divide my steak up amongst my family for them to eat We had over a bill (with automatic gratuity) and he chose to argue vs fix I am from out of town, but my family lives in town and they go out to eat a lot. They will not repeat at this restaurant. It was highly disappointing as I have worked in the industry for years and I have only written good review about a restaurant This is an easy solution. Training and common sense."

"under the use of restaurant week we decided to try lela on a Friday night for dinner. the dining room is wide open with surface-resistant flowing walls and a view of the kitchen, so it was very lively with all the tables almost full but not super busy. the standing on which my wife sat was very hard and uncomfortable, while my chair was comfortable so that we exchanged the seats and she was right, it was painful after one because my floor. the restaurant week dinner menu was 3 courses so we decided to order from this. adelle, our server, was timely and knowledgeable offer menu suggestions that I always appreciate. he started by saying that the dishes were mostly Italian inspired that I would not agree. as an Italian, a meatball appetizer and a gnocchi dish define lela not as an Italian restaurant, as offered in the ones we have chosen. for the appetizer course we ordered Lela’s simple salad with cherry tomato and lemon vinaigrette and the Peruvian ceviche of hamachi with kokosmilch, limette juice, habanero chili, garlauch, ingwer and cilantro. the salat was just okay, and the hamachi was quite watery, suggesting that it was not freshly prepared and everything I could taste was limette juice. the other aromen were washed out so it was not a pleasant dish. my wife had the steak fries, a perfect medium-sized hanger steak with freshly made fries. the fries were not as crispy as they should be, but were freshly decorated. I had the paned skuna bay lachs with “melted leek, mushrooms, and regret blanc lemon butter sauce that I was pared with a glass boil pinot noir, the superb! the salmon was beautifully roasted and moist, perfectly pared with the limp and sauce – surely the best dish of the night! the chocolate mousse was actually a small dry chocolate cake with something that resembled chocolate grass, but actually a sugary wafer that was broken over the top. lela was a hit and miss for us on many counts and not a restaurant I probably go back to, especially with the loud noise level. there are better options!"
