"I recently visited Goin Nuts Cafe based on a recommendation from my husband, who claimed it was the best place he had ever had a steak. Unfortunately, my first and LAST visit left me extremely disappointed! Firstly, the steak I ordered was overcooked and lacked any flavor. Despite requesting a medium-well preparation, it was dry, hard, and completely devoid of juiciness. It was far from the quality I expected, especially considering the price I paid!!! The price was not worth this meal!!! To make matters worse, the side dish mix-up added to the overall dissatisfaction. Instead of the green beans I requested, they served me peas. Upon picking up my order, I was informed that they were out of fries, despite not being informed of this during the initial phone call. I had to settle for a baked potato. The customer service experience was equally disappointing. When I called to place my order, the staff member went down a list of items they didn't have available, which already set a negative tone for my visit. Overall, my experience at Goin Nuts Cafe was far from satisfactory. The steak was overcooked, lacked flavor, and the side dish mix-up, along with the unavailability of fries, added to the disappointment. The customer service could have been handled much better. They gave me a refund but I had to go somewhere else still and get food very inconvenient! I hope that my feedback can serve as an opportunity for the restaurant to address these issues and improve their offerings. It's important for them to ensure consistency in their food quality, fulfill customer orders accurately, and improve their communication with customers."

"The service here is absolutely horrible and I do not recommend if you have kids. My 2 1/2 yr old was with us, of course. The owner/cook (Kate) came around and gave her some blueberries which was kind, but then proceeded to stand and talk with us. Meanwhile, my daughter grabbed her cup (no lid) and started to try to get a drink. Kate jerked the cup away from her and held it. I grabbed it back from Kate without saying a word. She says “I didn’t want her to spill it all over my toes.” I didn’t say anything back to her. A little later she comes by again. At this point we had been there for awhile (45-1hr probably) and we’re just about finished eating, I had JUST given my daughter a show on my phone so I could finish eating. It was on no volume, she wasn’t bothering anyone just sitting there quietly watching her show. Kate says “You know if you took the iPad away she’d eat her food..” we all kinda ignored her to be honest and she says “No one’s listening to me. Those aren’t allowed in here, you let one kid and then they all do it.” I said “she said she was full, thank you.” What happened next was kind of a blur but she reaches down to my daughter and grabs my phone and says “Well, Kate will take care of that.” Or something to that effect. My daughter was very confused as to why this random stranger was grabbing the phone from her and held onto it. Kate continued to literally jerk it out of her hands as my daughter was trying to hold onto it, a full on aggressive tug-of-war from Kate. She took the phone, tossed it on the table next to us, still playing the show and walked away saying stuff about phones and blah blah blah. I grabbed my phone back and gave it back to my daughter. Kate came BACK and stood behind me, her hands on my shoulders and said “I’ll let it slide this time but next time, leave it in the car.” And walked away. I stood up, took my daughter out to the car and waited for the rest of our party to come out. Her behavior was so appalling, we will never be back. Not to mention the food was mediocre and everything is layered in grime. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"
