"We were in the area of the Inn at Sugar Hill and took the opportunity to have dinner. We were unaware the Inn was under new ownership. The service was excellent. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Manager checked on us several times during our dinner. Very impressive! We had the tomato bisque soup special, crab bisque and Caesar salad to start. All were wonderful. Entrees were crab cakes, salmon, stuffed shrimp and Tuscan chicken. Crab cakes were excellent. Salmon was excellent, cooked as requested, but didn't really care for the dill sauce. Tuscan chicken was superb. Stuffed shrimp were a little overcooked and the stuffing had a little too much lemon for our taste. Sides were mashed potatoes, french fries, coleslaw. All excellent. The side of wild rice pilaf was under cooked. The drinks were an excellent Cosmopolitan and a rather weak white sangria. All in all, a good experience and we will return. By the way, the views are amazing from the porch overlooking the lake at sunset!"
