"Let me start off by saying that usually, Taco John 's is one of my favorites. I also want to point out that I understand the current supply chain issues that are plaguing all types of businesses. HOWEVER, if a customer orders something and you do not have it, you need to tell the customer, not just take it upon yourself to substitute another item. I drove to Lebanon two days ago specifically to get the Nachos Navidad (basically Christmas nachos that are also a fundraiser for local charities). I placed my order, but when my food was brought out, it was a different item (super nachos). I took it back up to the counter and told them this was not what I had ordered, and they actually argued with me and said yes it is. I explained tgat I 'd ordered Nachos Navidad, not super nachos (yes, it 's basically the same food item, but one provides for the fundraiser and the other does not). They then told me that they didn 't have the other. I asked why they didn 't tell me that when I ordered, because frankly I 'd have ordered something else. They had no answer for that. They did eventually refund my money, but the whole situation shouldn 't have happened. Also, my mom was with me and placed a separate order for a taco burger. She took one bite and threw it away because the bun was completely stale and the meat was ice cold, like it had been just taken out of cold storage and thrown directly onto the bun. It 's extremely disappointing when one of your favorite places goes downhill, but the experience has been worse and worse each of the last few times we 've driven over there."
