"We also ordered the classic banh mi, which I found surprisingly delightful. I didn't expect much, but it might just be one of the best banh mis I've ever had. Many places skimp on the meat, but that wasn't the case here; there was a generous amount, and it was evenly distributed throughout, which I appreciated (most banh mis have the meat at the bottom and veggies on top).
For my main dish, I chose the Vietnamese Spicy Noodles Soup, featuring a spicy lemongrass beef broth with sliced brisket. The lemongrass flavor was a refreshing change from the usual beef pho. However, it was slightly oily, and I ended up feeling quite thirsty afterward.
Overall, it was a wonderful meal, and I would happily return to try more of their offerings. I was torn between the spicy noodle soup and the rice vermicelli platter, so I think I’ll opt for the latter next time!"
