"I wanted this place to thrive, but In the last year, dwindling stock and several entirely empty shelves has overcome this mini-market. If you talk with the lead worker there..... the empty shelves are because of the pandemic and problems acquiring stock from our supplier. However, every minimarket or even the smallest liquor stores in the immediate area have fuller stock and range of goods at cheaper sales prices.. Example..... no more milk products, no more bread, no more etc etc etc. So i am completely not buying their answer/excuse of supplier issues . If it 's a supplier problem, get a new supplier....... so simple."

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"Nice outdoor area, staff had a challenge getting any of their heaters to work outside. Food was less than average, mushroom burger was dry and overcooked and had about mushrooms total. Staff seemed irritated if you asked for anything."

We tried the Bacon-Wrapped Figs stuffed with Goat Cheese, the Crispy Duck Breast, the Drunk Duck Burger (a Beef Burger topped with Duck Confit, Bourbon Mushrooms, and Goat Cheese Duckanaise), and the Roasted Butternut Squash Lobster Risotto. This local bar and restaurant has been around for years and is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking to enjoy something different from the usual restaurant fare!"

"This is a fantastic spot to visit on a leisurely weekend when you can sit down and savor some delicious croissants. They're flavorful, buttery, and quite filling. Each one is priced around $3 to $4, depending on the filling, and my personal favorite is the spinach and cheese croissant. The desserts are also delightful, as everything is made fresh in the bakery. They often have day-old items available at the register for $3 for two (usually a croissant and a muffin), and they’re just as tasty as the fresh ones. The croissants are still quite good regardless!"

"The reubs is one of my favorite sandwiches and this is a great place to get one. I ordered the signature, Red Mule Reuben and it was as good as they've been here for decades. Comes in a basket with a Dill Pickle spear and small bag of chips. Draft beer two dollars. Dim lighting with various decorations of bicycles and signs. Fast friendly service. WiFi. Cosy. Definitely a great place to eat."

"One of the best bagels I had in New York. I had the Caesar bagel and it came with chicken, lettuce, Parmesan, tomatoes and Caesar sauce. It came very quickly and it was amazing. Though as a tourist I thought the portions were very big but if you’re hungry you can eat the whole thing. Also, like most bagel shops in nyc there isn’t much seating so if it’s busy you probably won’t be able to sit down. Definitely recommend if you are a tourist you won’t find many bagels like this in the UK."

"The pesto panini was fantastic! Unfortunately, I couldn't try the Arancini (rice balls filled with cheese and ragu) because I accidentally dropped them as I was taking them out of the bag, which was such a bummer! One minor thing to note is that they were over $12, and I didn't realize there were only two of them. I'm a bit frugal, so that might just reflect regular prices, but I'm not sure if that's a valid criticism on my part. Nevertheless, I definitely plan to give them another shot, and I will absolutely be ordering the Caprese on ciabatta again—it was simply delicious!"

"A cherished favorite from my childhood! We used to get our birthday cakes from here. After many years, I found myself in Maspeth and decided to grab a bite to eat. I ordered a tuna salad on a pulp roll, and I must say, even without celery and onions, it was absolutely delicious! Your cookies are simply the best. I bought some to take with me to Florida, but, unfortunately, the ants couldn’t resist them either—lol! I highly recommend this place for sandwiches and baked goods. They've been around for many decades, and I'll definitely be back during my next visit! Thank you, Glendale Bakery!"

"This place had great sandwiches but the older lady in the back is RUDE. The younger lady was kind and helpped me right away. I asked the younger lady while I was waiting for my to go order, if I could use the bathroom. She was fine with that. Went in to use the bathroom and someone was trying to open the door with a key although I locked the door. I stated, someone is in here . Once I was done, which was not long after I washed my hands, the older lady looked at me crazy while I was coming out. I asked her, is everything ok with you? She looked at me l, rolled her eyes and then went in to the bathroom. Once, she came out the bathroom she started speaking Spanish to the younger lady about me I could understand what she was saying). So RUDE!!!!! I was appalled at what I was experiencing especially when I came as THEIR CUSTOMER. I will never go back to this location. BEWARE! DONT DAY I DID WARN YOU."

"I had a good feeling about the food at Mo P's based on the delicious aroma wafting outside. It definitely lived up to my expectations! I ordered items straight from the grill, which took about 15 minutes—though they let me know beforehand, so I didn’t mind the wait at all. The food was certainly worth it! "I went there today and I tried their akasan for the first time. I don’t usually go there since my mom can make this, but she’s didn’t have the ingredients and I was craving it. First, it tasted and smelled spoiled. Correction, it was spoiled because my mom confirmed it later when I got home: The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because their paté ayisyen is okay. I’m talking about the flaky ones, not their paté kode. In any case, I will not be going there anytime soon. As for the akasan, that’s a never again for me."
