"Still good pastrami, but wow, Honey, I Shrunk the Sandwich! We ordered two pastrami sandwiches, two orders of Derma, a small Cole Slaw, and a couple of cans of Dr Browns. Oh, and a package of Hamantashan. Over $100, and the two most meager pastrami sandwiches I have ever seen in a Jewish Deli in my 60+ years. Watched one of the deli men there show a newb how to weigh the pastrami on the scale for the sandwiches. Unfortunately, there aren't many good jewish delis left."

"This neighborhood staple has been around since the 70's. It started out in a small no non sense building with a just a couple of tables to sit at. They were mainly used for patrons to sit at while they waited for their pickup orders. Their reputation for preparing great food and friendly service had proceed them and had people returning over and over again. Which has lead to what the restaurant has become to today. It's reputation is 10 to non. It's now a great place to meet up with friends or family to enjoy conversations while enjoying great food with a friendly professional staff. It's not like some other Italian restaurants were is dimly lit and conversation is low key. It's vibrant inside and has a great atmosphere. It's always humming. We were greeted promptly by the hostess, who was a young man and were seated right away. Their attention to detail and urgency to get one seated as soon possible was much greatly appreciated. He also asked us what we wanted to drink. We were handed menus to look at. I must say this. They have the most enticing menu with a wide variety of menu options to choose from. From Chicken Parmigiano to Baked White fish to Salads or pizza., burgers or Reubens. After looking over the menu I decided to go with I remembered as a kid. I order a pizza, as this was one of their stables and one that helped build the restaurant from the early days. They had always been known for their pizza and fish. Neither one, I remembered as kid, ever disappointed us as we had both every Friday. (See the below picture) Dad decided to have the Antipasto salad with their homemade house dressing. Within no time, as we sat talking, the food had arrived to us. Hot and both dishes looking delicious. The cheese bubbling on the pizza and the crust just crispy enough. The salad loaded with all it's toppings. We dug in to enjoy our meals. It brought back memories. The pizza with its traditional pepperoni and zesty sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese..hmmm it looked yummy and it was as I remember as a kid. On the other side, the Antipasto salad had large slices of salami and ham and cheese. Dad had ordered a small and it really could had feed two people. As we sat and enjoyed our meal I looked around the restaurant and seen nothing but happy people enjoying their meals and conversation and time together. That was a testament to Frienzes reputation as a great restaurant that I high recommend coming too. "Pop's Diner is a fantastic spot tucked away in Flushing, and it feels like a longtime local favorite. The menu offers delicious options at very reasonable prices. I tried the French toast, which was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife enjoyed a classic BLT that was equally satisfying. The coffee was just right, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Note that Pop's Diner is cash only, but there's an ATM at the Walgreens next door. I’ll definitely be returning!"

One of the meals were smoked fish , but when we got home and opened the plastic bowl. We found on the top of the bowl, it 's smoked fish . But, at bottom all it 's “Fried Ribbonfish”, it 's totally different and the fish was actually a cheaper kind. Even the boss knows I was her old customer fourteen years ago, she was still scamming me. This scam drained our family 's Thanksgiving spirit. Other than the fried noodles, the rest of the servings all had an unpleasant fish and chicken odor."

"So I came here to try the steak and eggs ? but changed my mind and picked the steak and eggs ? skillet instead which comes with some cooked ? potatoes ? eggs ? made your way and a choice of either toast, or mini pancakes ?. The plate itself isn 't a traditional hot skillet but it I definitely enjoy everything and noted the food was prepared with great care with fresh ingredients and I was so full I still have some pancakes ? left in my fridge for tomorrow. The skillet comes with a green tomatillo sauce so that was a nice surprise and I didn 't have to wait long for my food to come out. This being my first time here I didn 't see beverages listed in the menu so I asked my server for suggestions without realizing until the end of the meal there is a prominent chalk board against a wall with a complete list of canned sodas, juices, jarritos brand pops, horchata, milk ? and milkshakes. She suggested I order the strawberry horchata which was only slightly tasting of cinnamon but it reminded me too much of the child 's drink strawberry ? Nestlé Qwik drink which I never really cared for. I think the drink was OK but I probably would have preferred a simple tomato ? juice drink to accompany my breakfast food. The place itself is kind of worn down and could use some remodeling. Also to get to the bathroom ? you do need to walk through the kitchen area so it 's kind of a weird layout. I believe I paid around $27 including tip for the skillet ? and strawberry ? iced horchata which is a bit on the pricey side for a diner as low key as this one. Also there was a large table of rowdy high school kids here thar kind of killed the vibe for me. In summary food here is incredible but a tad pricey for the location and the fact that this tiny diner is not a fine dining experience. This seems to be an ideal breakfast spot for younger people that sells a combination of Mexican and American fare in a very low key atmosphere."

"What a lovely surprise! I’ve always appreciated delicious food, especially authentic Chinese cuisine. I’ve been a loyal customer of China Star for over a decade, often opting for takeout when I can’t dine in. While social distancing is essential for people’s safety, it has definitely altered our daily lives. "I want to start by saying that I’ve been a loyal customer of this diner for over ten years. I have a special fondness for the waitresses, especially Colleen, who has been so kind and supportive as I grew up. However, after several negative experiences with a man who now works at the front counter (perhaps a new owner?), I felt compelled to share my thoughts. While I will continue to support Copake Diner, I hope this individual can adjust his attitude towards customers. It may not be the right job for him. "Honestly, I wanted to love this hotel. Unfortunately, it smells funny like a dusty old house. The furniture and carpet are outdated. The blinds are heavy and difficult to open and close and one of the blinds was completely missing the tilt wand so I had to use my fingertips to struggle to open and close those. There is a tiny cd player/radio for music. The hotel phone was so yellowed from age that I didn't even want to touch it. One of the recliners in our room actually had a huge tear in the upholstery. There is also strange, cheap looking, fake plants in the room as decoration. The view is beautiful, but it's beautiful from every place you can stay in on the coast. Literally, the only special thing they had to offer was a spa in the room next to the window, that was awesome. I'll never stay here again though, for almost $250/night it was definitely lacking."

"I have eaten here several times and after every meal I promise mySelf I will never go back but someone in my family ends up convincing me to go back and then I'm again disappointed. I always enjoy the food but the problem is that the waiter or waitress automatically gets a minimum 18 percent tip included so they feel there is no reason to work for the included tip. With an empty restaurant my waitress didn't have time to provide me the basic services. The restaurant has a large staff of waiters and busboys and managers but none of them could care less about the customer. This will definitely be my last visit."

"I feel bias in rating the Park Lunch. I grew up in the neighborhood and will always consider it my go to Hidden Gem even though I don't live here anymore but still within eating distance. I've been to ALOT of places in town but I'd only do a review for THE BEST!! Comfort food at it's best and hands down....the BEST Fried Shrimp....Scallops and ALL time favorite......Fried Clam plate.
