"Went for a quick Sunday afternoon escape, but I think I discovered my new favorite restaurant! We got a couple of glasses of wine and their smoked salmon crostini....then I started looking at the rest of the menu! Everything looks so amazing! We're definitely going back for dinner. If you sit outside, there are a lot of cars slowly driving by and a fair amount of exhaust fumes. I would recommend making reservations. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was theservice. The hostess forgot to give us menus and our waitress was so busy, she forgot to come back for the check. Other than that, great experience! I'm hopeful for an upgrade to 5 stars on my next visit!"

"We arrived for our reservation 15 mins early. The hostess said to us your table is not ready yet. We stood by the entry for several minutes(no place to sit and wait, or even stand, you 're kinda in the way), we then told the hostess we are headed to the bar...a good hostess would have suggested grab a drink at the bar and we 'll come and seat you. At our table our server seemed genuinely uninterested. She seemed to want to rush us, but we controlled the pace. Their French Onion soup is very good, highly recommend. Skip the sashimi. I had to ask our server any specials of course there were 2 specials...so we ended up ordering the burger, and a salad. Be careful not to mention split plait they will charge $7.50 split plate fee. (Just get an extra plate). The burger was good, but with added toppings like an egg, avocado and mushrooms, brought the price to $39. The Winery House Salad was good. Recommended. Their wine menu is respectable, recommend the Daou Cab $18/glass. Their desert menu included a cobbler, so this time of year sounded good. Well it was anything but a cobbler. More like granola and fruit, with ice cream. Overall, if you are in the area and shopping g at the Westfield Mall, I would recommend dining here."

"I went to Nora for the first time years ago and loved it. Over the years I've been and enjoyed it but I believe it is living on its initial reputation. The meal I had this week was disappointing on all levels. The room was very noisy and we were seated in the middle of it. The service was very slow and we had to ask for things several times. We were also told that they were running out of things including the wine we had ordered a bottle of and the dessert. Finally, the food was mediocre. My halibut was overcooked and my husband's scallops undercooked"

"The steak was cooked perfect and the sides were good. The part I still can't get past is we get an appetizer of shrimp now there 3 of us. On the menu it is $20 for the shrimp app and the fact that it only comes with 4 shrimp is robbery. The fact that we brought it up to the waitress and she said she knew with a sigh told us that it was an on going complaint. I'll pay 5 dollars a shrimp if it was even a large or even better jumbo but no it was no bigger than my pinkie and my wife is pregnant craving shrimp.If your willing to do this with the shrimp I wonder what other areas you do this in your business...exclusivity doesn't constitute stupidity"

"The bartender at this restaurant accused me of leaving without paying, even though I had left money with a 20% tip along with my beer glass. She followed me into the parking lot and yelled at me until I returned to the bar to prove that I had paid in full. Despite counting the money and seeing that it was all there, she refused to admit her mistake. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I can't help but feel like the establishment has racist undertones. However, a young man who claimed to be the manager (DaN) apologized for the misunderstanding and handled the situation well. Overall, I would suggest avoiding this place unless you are from San Clemente."

"After enjoying a great dinner at Vivienne Bistro last week, I decided to revisit for lunch. Unfortunately, my experience was not as satisfying. With only two servers for the entire place, the service was slow and the food arrived cold. Despite the food tasting good, I was disappointed that it was not served at the proper temperature. I mentioned this to the server, but they did not make any effort to rectify the situation. Overall, I was dissatisfied with my lunch experience and may only consider returning for dinner in the future."

"I drove 2 hours to take my 93 yr old mother to see her grandson on stage Vibrato. We were immediately greeted by Sylvia with a smile and a welcoming voice. Although we were a few minutes early for our dinner / show reservation, we sat in what I decided to be the best place in the house. This visit was a surprise for my mother and her grandson (my son of percussionist with Andy Vargas group Los Souleros). From this point on the rest of the evening was one of the best experiences my mom and I have ever had. Our server, Michelle, was up from the very beginning. Insofar as this was my first visit, she helped me through the amazing menu by making some excellent recommendations with drinks, food for mom and my steak lobster dinner. Not only was Andy Vargas an excellent singer/Entertainer, but the other members of his group were extremely talented musicians. The music was happy, lively and appealed to everyone in attendance, dancing with many of the customers in the Aisles. A special moment for my mom was when the saxophone player came to our table and had sung her for a moment, he brought tears to her eyes. The last touch was when a Vibrato employee presented my mom with a few sticks of beautiful orchids. I can't say enough about our evening. This was not only a great dinner/show, but an experience worth the drive and the price. I look forward to returning and joining with others who enjoy the more subtle things in life. P.S. I grew up listening to Herb Alpert The Tijuana Brass, but I am also musician for many years (Keyboarder/Singer and my mother was pianist in classical music and 2 of my other sons played trumpet in some of my original bands many years ago. Tonight was a night of pure joy and great memories. Thank you, Herb and your staff."

"At the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Dominique’s wife, co owner. So welcoming she was, I requested the bar area being solo. Immediately I was greeted by Jonathan, who shared that he would be serving me this evening, and he, from the start to my leaving, was one of the most gracious and gentleman like waiter/bartender/servers I have ever met. I enjoyed sparkling water, Pellegrino – my favorite and a new Argentina Malbec, which is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I ordered, after Jonathan gave me a detailed description of the special appetizers and special entrées, their special Burrata cheese appetizer and chicken liver pate (see photos). As both portions were quite large, I took the remainders to go, and really look forward to returning again soon. Jonathan‘s service was spectacular and what a phenomenal, relaxing, perfect solo evening, listening to upbeat, international music in the background. Strongly recommend!"

"1. We learned tonight that Southern Prime no longer serves USDA Prime beef, only Angus. It may be time for them to consider a name change to something like Outback or Texas Roadhouse. 2. The red wine served in a glass is not at the ideal temperature of 55-65 degrees but rather at a disappointing room temperature of 70-75. They could really benefit from having a sommelier or offering some wine training. 3. Many corporate entities underestimate consumers, thinking they won’t notice when they’re being taken advantage of. However, there’s a savvy segment of the population that will walk away once they feel scammed, and companies like Starbucks, Marriott, and Hyatt should take heed. When those in power opt to print money over a span of two to three decades to resolve issues, it's unrealistic to expect much accountability from businesses as well."

"I was excited to join friends (party of 4) for Friday brunch/lunch at the beautiful Alfond Inn. Our experience was very disappointing. The 2 men at our table received their eggs benedict a full 10 minutes before my friend I received our meals. The eggs were cooked well, the ham was good but the hollandaise was thin and only a mere drizzle (barely a tablespoon full) topped the eggs. After 10 minutes my friend received her entree salad and lukewarm soup. Her salad tasted good but all ingredients were in the bottom of the bowl and not on top of lettuce. Not as pictured in other reviews. It was another 5 minutes before I received my salad Niicoise that was described as having Nicoise olives, artichokes, tomatoes, green beans, seared tuna eggs. I noticed the olives were missing and the server went to retrieve from the kitchen. I then realized that salad was also missing artichokes and tomatoes. So half the advertised ingredients were missing. I like a green bean with a bit of snap, but these tasted cold, raw and not cooked at all. The tuna was not freshly seared. It was ice cold (not quite defrosted), watery, rubbery, gray in color and tasteless except for a slightly fishy taste at the end. The server explained that the salad cook was new. I sent back my salad to order something different It was another 10 minutes before server returned for my replacement order. At that point everyone else had finished their meal. I ordered a cup of soup because I thought it would be quick. It was not. It was also lukewarm. Server then tried to remove everyone else's plates while I was just beginning my soup. The cost of the entree salad was removed from our check but at no time did a manager approach our table to apologize or see what he could do. No other accommodations were made. Our server apologized as we were leaving and told me that the new salad cook would undergo additional training for the future. Weird comment, and what good would that do me? The Alfond Inn deservedly is a 4 star hotel. I would expect the service and food at Hamilton's Kitchen to meet the same standards. We had bad food, bad service. I am not a complainer and rarely send back food, having spent time as a server many years ago in my college days. Huge disappointment. I would not recommend."

"I usually love The Grotto and the food and our waitress were superb as usual. My issue tonight was that they actually asked us to leave. The hostess sent our waitress to tell us that they give customers an hour and a half and then they expect them to leave. There was a party waiting at the bar with reservations and we were asked to leave. Let me say that we weren't just sitting around. The slowness of the kitchen staff should never be the customer's problem. We weren't complaining that our meals … – show"

"I visited this restaurant today for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, and it was fantastic! The mussels appetizer was incredible, and the toasted garlic baguette slice paired perfectly with it. For my main course, I chose the steak au poivre, and I absolutely loved the sauce—it was a delicious peppercorn sauce with brandy that left me craving more. For dessert, I opted for the crème brûlée, and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, with great attention to detail. We're definitely planning to return soon, as our meal has sparked our curiosity about the rest of the menu!"

"I stopped by with a friend yesterday after a hike, and we were both pretty hungry. We left the restaurant feeling happy and satisfied. The staff was wonderful, and everything we ordered was delicious. We definitely plan to return!"
