"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and I would rate the food a solid 4.7. I ordered the brisket plate, which was a bit dry, but I usually prefer my brisket on the juicy side and forgot to specify that here. So, any dryness could be my own oversight. I appreciated that the flavors were well-balanced, with the smoky meat flavor dominating at about 90% and spices making up the remaining 10%. As for the BBQ sauces, I can't really judge them since I'm not a fan of traditional BBQ sauce. However, I did enjoy the Carolina sauce, which had a more mustardy flavor. It did remind me of corned beef and cabbage when paired with the brisket, so I didn’t use much of it.
The staff were incredibly friendly. From the guy taking my order who greeted me with a big smile, to the bartender who engaged me in conversation while preparing my drink and even checked to make sure I liked my selection—service here is excellent! As I’m writing this, a staff member even came by to clear my table, despite it being a self-cleaning kind of place.
The ambiance and view from the patio were just *chef’s kiss*—absolutely stunning! It was so peaceful and made for a fantastic way to spend a Friday afternoon lunch. I came here to check the place out for my birthday dinner next Friday, and I’ve definitely found my spot. I will be returning and will recommend it to others!"
