"I had a nostalgic visit to this Dairy Queen, but I'm not quite sure why there's always such a long line here. I thought the draw would be the ice cream, but it was surprisingly soft and melting—definitely not what I expect from them. I ordered a hot dog combo, and I know what you’re thinking—who orders a hot dog at Dairy Queen? Even the person taking my order seemed taken aback, and it felt like he wasn’t quite familiar with what a #3 was, despite the sign being just a few feet away.
When my #3 cheese dog arrived, it was served plain with no condiments in the bag, and the chips were Doritos. While technically they are chips, I wasn’t aware I had a choice—I guess that’s the upgrade? I had been expecting regular potato chips. On the bright side, my Coke was served correctly, so I’ll give them a point for that.
If you decide to come here, I recommend sticking to the ice cream and specifically asking for it to be served hard. Definitely steer clear of the hot dogs."
