"Food that we got was good. Order wasn't ready on time, brought home and wrong order, drove back, 15 minutes each way waited for correct food and when I got home one of the dinners was still wrong. They did let us keep the first wrong order so I have plenty of food I didn't want. Nice people but if I can't trust them to get a few items right why would I order again. "A drastic change since the first time I attended this establishment. For starters, the ?queso? was without a doubt, velveta cheese. The main courses were laughable. The enchiladas came at room temperature and soggy, the refried beans were more or less soup, and the rice was extremely over cooked. A friend had a salad, which was extremely watery. The service was inattentive and very forgetful. On the bright side, the fajitas seemed okay."

"My favorite neighborhood Mexican food joint in Vancouver. Their margaritas taste excellent. Their salsa has personality. I like the carnitas burrito better than the macho. I'm also fond of the Chile Colorado and steak fajitas. The largest selection of base spirits for a Mexican restaurant. A decent selection of mixers and liqueurs. Los Potrillos has a fabulous staff. They treat you really well. Especially if you sit at the bar. PRO Tip: Their Happy Hour is the best in Vancouver. A medium Cadillac margarita is only $9! "Usually, this restaurant is a great place to visit. However, our experience this past Sunday was quite odd. The waiter, who seemed to be the manager, appeared to be upset and was impatient when taking our orders. He even slammed the menus down on the table. It was a strange experience. This incident has made us reconsider where we choose to dine in the future. Despite the busy lunch rush, rudeness is never acceptable."

"I enjoyed a nice dine-in experience at this restaurant, but every takeout order I've had has been disappointing. The portions are quite small, items are often missing, and the food appears poorly put together, looking like it has been left out for some time. I would suggest going to Chipotle instead for better value. Sadly, I don't believe this restaurant will survive much longer. It's frustrating, but overall, my experience has been quite negative and unsatisfactory."

"This restaurant has great potential, but it really needs better staffing. There was just one waitress handling both hosting and serving, alongside one person managing the cash register. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. When my food finally arrived, it was lukewarm, which I suspect was due to understaffing rather than the cooks' performance. While the flavors were enjoyable, I don't think I'll be coming back again due to the management issues. Cost per person: $10–20."

"I am not exaggerating giving this place 5 stars. The food is excellent, always comes out hot and fresh. The waitstaff are very friendly and helpful and quick!! I've never waited more than 10 minutes. One of my favorite spots in town. Also want to shoutout our waitress, Amie ,who did an absolutely amazing job table touching and serving our every need. 10/10, will definitely eat here again and again. Also highly recommend the Burrito California, my absolute favorite! Dietary restrictions: Orders are customizable and they also have salads and other vegetarian options. (Lots of orders with beans and rice and veggies) Parking: Huge parking lot, easy to get in and out of."

"What a complete disappointment. We enjoy trying local establishments and supporting small businesses. If I could give a negative star rating, I would. We arrived at 6 o'clock and there was only one other couple at a table. We ordered nachos with steak as an appetizer and placed our meal order at the same time. About 45 minutes later, the server brought out the nachos and warned that the plate was hot. Unfortunately, the nachos were not. Shortly after, our meals arrived. The presentation was decent, but that was the only positive aspect of this experience. My meal (the Enchiladas Bandera) was cold and the steak in the Bistec con Enchiladas had little flavor and was mostly fat and gristle. The enchilada sauce was also lacking in taste. I sent my meal back but declined a replacement due to the long wait time. We overheard the server apologizing for the delay to another table that arrived after us. I feel sorry for the other customers dining at this restaurant tonight. When the bill came, the meal I returned was still on it. It seemed like there were inexperienced staff working in the front of the house. After some discussion on how to rectify the situation, we were presented with a revised bill."

"As a latina woman, I love finding small businesses that serve Mexican food. However, I was not impressed with this place. The restaurant had no a/c and a small fan by the bar simply pushed around the already hot air. I ordered tacos and was confused with my order. It was nothing but fat and the meat was not how it is usually served at other establishments in other parts of the US/Mexico. I chalk this up to the location of the restaurant. Even the chips were not any good. Will not be returning.Parking: Very small parking lot"

"We went to celebrate Thanksgiving ahead with my daughter, since I have my vacations planned to go another City. The place is really nice and comfy. Food was delicious. I ask for a “bandeja paisa, was surprised that it didn't include chorizo, because it was an added on acostumed of NJ restaurants which already included. I asked for white rice and they did brought yellow rice. We were so hungry that forgot to take pictures. Otherwise all was nice."

"I hired this team to cater an important event at my company in November 2021. Kevin, who handled the catering, was very professional and tackled any challenges with enthusiasm. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. After that experience, I decided to visit their Elizabeth location to see how it was. Unfortunately, the staff was not as friendly or engaged, although the food remained good. I really enjoy their dishes, but they need to work on their customer service smiles! "This place is not standing out from outside in order to be noticeable for the passerby?s attentions. It is constructed as low cost eatery as one enters the restaurant; paint jobs needed on walls, etc. Minus one star. Waitresses are friendly although they lack of fluency in English? Spanish speaking most of them. Menu given to you is in a 5?-8? color printed paper hot plastic coated but separated. In contrast menu needs to be redone. Menu items are better set up than the menu book itself. Prices are attracting. Wait time for our 4 tacos and bowl of burritos was around 15 minutes on that quiet night which was OK. We were a quad-connected trays of hot sauces though not chips! They sat on table throughout the entire waiting time. Why serve that without anything to eat it with? A good question. Our Corona was relatively cheap comparing the similar restaurant late night around it. Food was great surprisingly. Tasty and one wouldn?t leave anything behind at the end of the meal. Checks were brought in with a wifi pay machine and machine were left at the table for us to complete our own transaction. : I see some serious lack of waiting staff training there. That took a star off.. In overall, my experience is a satisfying at the end of the night. I recommend to those who are seeking a safe late night restaurant which doesn?t look like a Spanish bar, have nice food and leave happy. On the photos, it show a stark buriito bowl and tacos with condiments that sat all night on our table."

"We were seated right away, and there were plenty of open tables. Our server brought out chips and salsa promptly, which were tasty. Since we enjoy spicy flavors, we asked for their spicier version, and it was packed with flavor and delicious! We sampled a variety of dishes, including tacos, a chicken and vegetable dish, and their special chicken salad, which I ordered with a trip. It was fantastic! The service was excellent, and our food arrived in about 10 minutes. Our server, who I think might have been the manager or owner, checked on us several times and kept our drinks filled. Although they don’t serve alcohol, it’s a perfect family restaurant that’s kid-friendly and easy to access. If you haven’t been there in a while and have kids, it’s definitely worth a visit! I also noticed they have nightly specials, but there wasn’t one available tonight (Saturday)."
