"My first and last visit to this Carvel was in May 2022. The place smelled strongly of the burger joint next door that it shared a floor with. I ordered a medium soft serve with hot fudge, and the cup was filled to the brim with the lid on. When I mentioned it would spill once I removed the lid and asked for a larger cup, the server simply placed the already-filled cup inside a bigger one and charged me again. I asked for a spoon to transfer it myself, warning them that if it spilled, I'd need a wet cloth to clean up. The server pointed me to some napkins but refused to provide a wet cloth. As I transferred the dessert, hot fudge stuck to the lid and sides started dripping, so I set it down and requested an extra pump of fudge to make up for what was left behind, as well as another lid for the larger cup. After paying, the server asked if I wanted a bag. After visiting someone for a few days, I went home and shared this experience with my local Dairy Queen, who just thanked me for the laugh and the business."
