"The view is always breath taking....no matter the Season. Our waiter was attentive, the food came as ordered and our table enjoyed the cocktail Cranberry Spritzer. The Rancho Hueveros had just the right mix of spice and the Tortilla was blue corn which I like better. One of the guests at our table wanted only one of the benedict and the waiter was able to have the kitchen accommodate her. Once the Waiter heard one of the guests at our table was celebrating a Birthday he brought a delicious mix of ice cream, whipped creme, hot fudge, and Brownie. It made for a fun Brunch/Lunch."

"We attended the Four Roses Bourbon 5 course dinner. It was our first food experience at the Grove as we’ve only attended comedy shows in the past. What a lovely evening!! It started with an Old Fashioned with a beautiful rose ice cube then a presentation from Four Roses providing the history of the bourbon along with a delicious bourbon flight. The food was beautifully presented with delicious flavors in each course. The wait staff and the ladies at the welcome desk were so friendly and professional. The chef also came out to present each course with a description of what went into each dish behind the scenes. He also offered a tour of their kitchen. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful event!!!"

"We were seated in the bar area again and while that was ok the service was disappointing. The bartender server was very pleasant and personable but unable to serve the entire bar area and the other servers effectively. Specifically, we waited a long time for refills of our chips (with trio dips). I also had to ask for water refill for my son twice before it was finally done. The food, atmosphere and pleasant personality of our server were great but I am not into inattentive service. Hope it’s staffed properly next time."

"Don’t get me wrong; whatever we ordered was always delicious. So when my son said he wanted to come here last week, I agreed since it had been so long. Upon arriving, I realized I couldn’t remember what my ex and I usually ordered, so I decided to go with my instincts and ordered a burger. Wow. I've eaten my fair share of burgers from various places, but I can confidently say that Tulsa Ribs serves the best burgers I've ever had—better than Five Guys, Islands, Red Robin, or Fat Burger. The flavor was indescribable; it was like heaven on a bun. Usually, I barely take the time to savor my meals, but this burger was so good that I actually enjoyed each bite. I even told my son how much I loved it. My son, who is nine, often comes here with his mom. He usually orders his favorite, boneless beef, and he enjoyed his meal as well. The cornbread was fantastic and the Tulsa fries are truly unique—you can’t find anything like them anywhere else. I will definitely be returning, but just for that burger. I can't stress enough how delicious it was. I ordered it medium, and I wish I had taken a picture to capture the moment. Next time, I promise to snap some photos!"

"Wishbone started in the West Loop long, long before most other places that exist in the area today, and they used to have other locations. Their current West Loop location is newer and it's now the only one. This Cajun inspired restaurant has greatbreakfast dishes like a Jambalaya Omelet and Crunchy French Toast (that is crunchy and delicious). Sides and a corn muffin comewith most dishes and you've got a choice of cheesy grits, collard greens, and a number of other southern style sides. There's afull bar and a fun, mostly fruity, specialty drink list. They keep the coffee coming, service has always been good, and the menuoffers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside is that the dining room is pretty noisy and often has large groups."

"My husband and I went to Nora's on recommendation from our friends for our anniversary. It was a true delight! The food Oh! was amazing. I had the Sabzi, so fresh! The hummus, a dream! The staff was just cool and comfortable. I had a cake brought there in advance to surprise my husband. The did so great with signals on when to bring it out, it was hilarious my husband had no idea. We will definitely be making Nora's a regular visit when we are in Dallas. I recommend it highly!"

"As usual, I am so excited to dig in when my meal comes, that I forget to take photos to share. My dining experience is always the most anyone can hope for at Juniper Grill. Our waiter Jack was attentive and ensured that our experience was pleasant and flowed with ease. The Ahi Tuna Wonton: the tuna was seared perfectly and was paired nicely with cabbage spicy sauce. My only complaint was they were difficult to eat. Once you bite into it, it crumbled into little bits. My dining companion ordered the Smokehouse Platter. The meat was tender and flavor filled. I had the 8oz Filet Mignon, Medium rare. JG is one of only a few places to get that right. The chefs here know what they're doing. We didn't notice the one little hiccup once our dishes came to the table. It was addressed immediately and we were surprised there was an issue. We're forgiving people, and, it did not affect our rating of the evening. I've been to JG many times, this was my companion's first visit. We're already planning to return in the near future. Juniper Grill is worthy of every star we gave them."

"The food here was amazing! We booked a reservations and it was so easy to come in and get seated. The staff were friendly and had great recommendations. The place was well lit and spacious. We ordered cornbread to share at the table and it was super delicious with the sugar coating on top. I got the crab and shrimp enchiladas with fries and it was delicious. It is an up charge to substitute any sides that does not come with the dish. The table got the chicken dish with mash potatoes and shrimp tacos with rice/beans. Overall I would come here again on special occasions. "We made a reservation through OpenTable for our first visit to this restaurant. I wish I had specified a dining room, but since we weren't familiar with the place, I didn't know. Unfortunately, we were seated in a booth at the bar, right next to a party that was happening. All evening, we had people standing right against our table, which was quite uncomfortable. I was really just hoping for a pleasant dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our poor waiter couldn't even approach the front of our table to check on us; he had to reach out and shout from the corner. We spoke to the manager, who did remove the cornbread and one other $5 item from our bill. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning."

"The lobster guacamole was overly acidic, making it difficult to finish. Additionally, the mussels were not cleaned properly before preparation; every single one was gritty and it felt like I was eating sand. The shrimp was also overwhelmed by Old Bay seasoning. I ordered a mai tai with regular rum, but they served it with coconut rum instead. I usually visit this restaurant every year for my birthday with my family, but this year's experience was definitely subpar."

"An almost five star experience! First time having Smokey Bones the food was out of sight! I ordered the pulled pork dinner with BBQ baked beans steamed broccoli. It was awesome! My 3 co workers had the Beef Brisket grilled cheese, a Smokey burger the Beef Brisket sandwich. The BBQ sauce choices were great. Everyone had good things to say about their food. However, our server couldn’t stop sniffling while he took our order, when he checked in on us, when he brought out the FOOD when we took care of the bill! It was a bit uncomfortable, seeing that Covid is still lingering not saying that’s what it was, but if you KNOW you have a case of the sniffles (I’m praying it was just sinuses), wear a mask while taking orders handling food! Also, I’d suggest they make a habit of cleaning the BBQ sauce bottles after each guest, just as they wipe the tables down. They were all greasy. Overall, it was a good experience that could have been a GREAT experience with just a few small tweaks. I will return I will advise others to give them a try!"

"It both pains and saddens me to write this review. I, my family and friends have been customers of Dawson's since they opened. We've even had a couple family reunion dinners in their banquet room. It has been nice to have a pretty decent local establishment to support versus any of the chain places around town. Unfortunately my last 3 times there have been way below par for what I had gotten, and come to expect, from Dawson's. Recently a long time friend visited Indy and wanted to try a local place. Dawson's immediately came to mind. My friend ordered beef stroganoff and I had the sirloin steak as, for not being a steak place, it was always good. Upon being served it was obvious the stroganoff was not fresh and was barely warm. The sauce was still gelatinous! My steak was gray and also obviously not cooked right. As they were busy we suffered in silence and ate what they gave us. I was so embarrassed after talking up this place to my friend. My next visit there was for my sister's birthday. We both ordered a steak. I was hoping last time was a fluke. It wasn't. My steak was actually cold to the touch. While she said she's had better there before, hers was acceptable enough for her to heat. Now tonight. I dined alone praying for a return of the good steak dinner I'd had so many times before. It was actually the worst. The cut of meat was entirely different. In all previous dinners the steak was about four inches square and about an inch thick, a sirloin filet if you will. Tonight's steak was triangular and not even a half inch thick. While it was at least warm it was not the way I ordered it. And TOUGH. I think they got it off the bottom of someone's shoe. So with three consecutive lousy dinners, I am done with Dawson's. You know, three strikes and you're out. An argument can be made that since I didn't make them aware of any of these they didn't have an opportunity to make it right. My response would be that after 17 years of above average meals to have 3 awful ones in a row tells me their cooking standards have dropped significantly. And I am not willing to pay for what their current standards are. It truly does make me sad."

"we enjoyed the restaurant and overall it was good; obviously the quality (on the farm too table) was good. the sweet of the day and the caesar salate were excellent. the chicken was a little hard and the meat was not spectacular. we tried the Speck sampler who was tasty, but nothing to write at home about the price. the service was in order. we sat in the pub for dinner and lunch that had no “special” atmosphere, maybe we would have liked the main room for the ambiente better. we tried two seasonal drinks that were really excellent. they bring them a very good jalapeño cornbread muffin each, but then calculate for all the others that seems to see chintzy how high the meal prices are. we would like to have a better selection of bearded designs. overall it was good and we enjoyed our meals, but for the price there are some things that could have made it a better experience."

"This used to be my favorite restaurant in Johnson City. It 's been a while since I 'd eaten there. However, my recent visit may be my last. One would think that being in the food service industry, those individuals would concentrate on that aspect of the business with the large amount of competition in the area for your hard earned dollars in this economy. In short, the Hostess should be a little more courteous rather than giving the could care a less attitude when there are people waiting for service, watching open tables sit vacant. Once seated (after a long wait) the server was nice, pleasant and attentive. She did her job well. Regrettably, people go to restaurants to eat food not interact with their servers. The cheese curds and pretzel sticks were delicious. but the time between appetizers and main course could have been a lot less. When the main courses did arrive, the Salmon AND baby back ribs were dried out like they had been sitting under a warming lamp far too long. At those prices, you expect perfection. Unless I read improved reviews of this establishment in the future, I 'll be dining on Bar-B-Q in other places in the area."

"We arrived late, just before the kitchen closed, and I order the blackened red snapped while my wife had the burger. The burger was ok but nothing special. The fish was tough and over cooked and the asparagus was excellent, but the rice was dry and clumpy like it was scraped off the bottom of the pot and reheated. It was some of the worst rice I had in my life. The waiter was responsive though and brought some fresh rice but it should not have happened in the first place."

"CSK was busy the night we partook, although they were able to get us seated right away. It 's like a kind of Chilis or such type fare, with a southern flare as their differentiation. We ordered the onion rings, chicken parm, steak and cheese and chicken salad. THe onion rings were a stack of about 15 or so, which was more than we expected and accompanied b y ranch and Cajun ranch dressing. The latter had a small amount of spice, but was a nice accompaniment to the appetizer. The chicken salad was too salty for my colleagues taste buds, but the bread with artisan butter design on top was found to be very good. THe parm unfortunately was not accompanies by the usual garlic bread, due to a failed delivery apparently. (They were also out of fries as well). The steak and cheese included both 'shrooms and peppers, and while not a true Philly S&C, was reasonably well prepared although a tad heavy with NaCl shaker. Staff was excellent and attentive."
