"The brisket was tasty, but the portion was quite small for the price. I had to pay extra for the mac and cheese, and only received a teaspoon's worth. The 1/3 Rack of St. Louis Ribs, which is one of my favorites, was good. I also ordered the garlic parmesan wings, and they were tasty as well. Overall, I think they need to offer larger portions—these aren't kid-sized plates!"

"My mother and I dined at Smokey Bones in York, PA on August 10, 2024, during our lunch stop en route to a 'glamping' girls' weekend. My mother absolutely loves the loaded cheese fries, while I can't get enough of the Smokey Bones-style smoked wings. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic. She made sure our experience was enjoyable, attending to every request we had. Ashley was friendly, engaging, patient, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She definitely deserves a 5-star rating! As for parking, we were fortunate to find a spot right in front of the entrance, which was perfect since my mother uses a cane."

"My wife and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at TAPS and the MGM casino. I've always seen the TAPS restaurant during the many times we visited the MGM casino but never went in there to eat. I saw that the TAP Sports Bar has blocked the entrance outside of the casino and now requires patrons to get to the restaurant by coming through the casino first. The hostess greeted us and there was no one in line so we were able to be seated immediately. Before being seated, the hostess interestingly asked for my name and phone . I received a text message after she asked for that information stating that we were placed on the waiting list while we were being seated by the hostess. That moment was just odd. Once seated, our server Donald was awesome. He was personable, respectful and funny. The food was delicious, and the smith island cake was a great dessert to end our dining experience. When we got seated at our table, I also asked our server Donald if I could speak with a manager to inquire about booking the lounge area at TAPS for my upcoming 50th birthday party. He went and made it known to the manager on duty that I would like to speak with them. The manager was in a middle of a meeting with other managers as we were told, so I waited until the end of our meal to ask our server again to speak with a manager. The manager was still busy and could not give me a few minutes of their time to ask a simple question. I did receive information from the front desk on the way out but was disappointed that the manager on duty could not give me a few minutes of their time. "We had a group of 5--the brunch bowl was really good, just enough food, everyone else took home half of their food. Poptarts were on point, we had both, breakfast quesadilla was good, spicy, but not excessively, classic eggs benny--beautiful and delicious, nice thick slides of canadian bacon, BLTE was huge, thick slices of bread came with chips, but we subbed fries, also, delicious. Breakfast burrito was tasty as well, and the home fries are always good. You can't really go wrong at Iron Rooster, their food is outstanding."

"server was very inattentive. we had to ask for water refills and beverage refills. huge pieces of time would pass and we wouldn't even see them in the dining room. they even fell from our escaped and no longer offered drinks that we needed. but we're sure she would look us back in a short time, but we had to go to the host booth to ask the host to find our server. the deer (Pork/chix) were pointed notches, but the churros were overwhelming. the experience was definitiw marred, but subpar service."

"We stayed here for a lunch a day while in Clearwater for the week and ordered the sampler of several meats (exception, chicken breast strips, steak, ribs, onion paprika, chicken wings) for 3 to 4 persons. Also ordered a beer, a water, a soda. The total number was about $100. Service was great! The chicken wing ribs were fantastic. The chicken breast strips, sausages and steak were average. It was cool that the grill pot (or whatever it is called) still smoke when brought to our table (made for cute pictures). Our sites were Mac cheese, corn and beans. Corn beans were just okay, but the Mac Cheese was AMAZING! Overall we had a good time here and some articles were great while some fell flat. We? Let's go honestly, just for the Mac box!?"

"there are 3-4 vegan menu items in the birdsall house and they offer to be the other vegan. we all have made the Veggie gyros with since and they were really delicious. there is a beautiful garden sitting area that is perfect at a beautiful day or they can sit in the pub atmosphere. I'll probably get back in next time when we're in the opposite."

"I am so surprised to see such a low star rating for this restaurant something must have happened over time because this place is 100% Just fab. Hostess was blah and not very friendly just seemed like she didn't like her job. Ended up sitting the bar and our bartender/ waitress was absolutely amazing. She was funny, patient, chill and over all great. My friend has a Stella and I have two mixed drinks. TITO'S STRAWBERRY LEMONADE and the pink strawberry swizzle. we had the Korean KOREAN PORK BELLY POPS they were amazing juicy delicious a little spicy but not bad. I am a big wimp when it comes to anything spicy and I could tolerate it so I was excited. I got the mac and cheese with a side of brisket and my friend had the steak salad amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing. My friend wasn't feeling so we decided to eat the appetizer in the house and everything else with boxed up and we brought it home. Now we also got the donuts which I was a little nervous about since we had to bag him up and take them to go however they were amazing great they lasted great tasted wonderful and I would definitely definitely come back to this please warn her because of the bar server she was amazing I wish I could remember her name I know she did with us I'm just super bad with names. The only thing that did stand me off a little bit was the hostess at the front and the night before my husband and I wanted to come eat here but they had already closed and we had a bad experience with the hostess then to and weren't going to come back but I'm so glad I decided to I will definitely be coming back"

"The food was good and plentiful especially the baby back ribs. We had great service (Autumn was our server) and there was a great atmosphere. It was bright enough that my mom could see, but still dim enough for a bit of ambiance. There were lots of TVs and plenty of customers, but you could easily hear your conversation. "Unfortunately, the food isn't what it used to be since the restaurant first opened. My husband's $50 steak, which he ordered medium, came out medium-well and the quality of the meat was disappointing—it didn’t even taste like filet. I had the salmon, which I also requested to be cooked medium, but it was extremely dry and overcooked. Management really needs to find someone else to handle the grill, as the current cook is consistently overcooking the meat. It definitely wasn’t worth the $183 we spent! The only highlights were the wedge salad, French fries, and mac and cheese. We could have saved over $100 if we had just ordered those three items."

"I've dined here several times, and each visit has left me very satisfied with the service, food, ambiance, and, of course, the drinks. The bar is separate from the main dining area, but you can easily grab a drink to bring back to your table. The aromas in the restaurant are always delightful. "I was spending an evening with my family and we wanted to grab a bite out during the late evening. When we went to Smokey Bones, we were immediately greeted and guided to our seat. The waiter service started off right and quickly declined. He provided us with menus and asked us for our drink orders to enjoy while we glanced at the menu. He informed us that he would clean the table and we didn’t mind at first, but it was 20 minutes later before he took our order. We wanted the Brisket Grill Cheese and was informed that the item was not available. So we needed more time to look at the menu for another item to order. It took the waiter another 10 minutes to come back for our order. FYI…we were the only customers in the entire dining area at the time. We ordered the Smoked Buffalo Wings Hot, French Fries, Bacon Cheeseburger with Chipotle Ketchup, Cheese Fries, a Ribeye Steak with a Loaded Bake Potato, and the Bone Fire. It took about 35 to 40 minutes for the food to be delivered. We finally got the food. I felt that my burger was delicious and the fries were on point. Others in my party did not enjoy the taste of the smoked Buffalo Wings and the steak came out a bit more rare than expected, so it was returned for further cooking. The music being played in the res was very nice and satisfying. They had a good playlist on for the night, hip hop and R&B. I will say that it was a bit cold in the restaurant. So cold that the waiter had their jacket on. The price of the food is what is typically expected for dining out at a restaurant. "Thanks to good ole Google, Fat Bob`s came up on top restaurants to try near us. We live in Canada but are close to the border and are so happy these small, amazing places show up for us. My husband and I took the 15 minute boot over the bridge to the restaurant around 430 pm. We didnt make a reservation, but the place quickly filled up after 5, so make a reso s my advice. The server was great at helping us navigate the menu as we wanted everything. Most of the items we ordered were off the specials menu. The texas twinkies were the perfect app size and great for the value. They had some heat! But like the perfect amount with the smokey cheese. My husband got Chicken and the pork. Though he thought it was pork ribs and it came pulled. With 2 sides for the value was amazing. Portion was not an issue at all. Theres a sauce card on the table that describes all 4 house made bbq sauces and what they pair well with. All the suggestions were spot on. Even on the mac and cheese.. which is OMG! lol. I had the Rachaels Special smoked turkey. Lots of moist meat, and flavor packed- the sandwhich was delish. We took home some food. That doesnt happen often. Oh, I had the apple cidar mimosa... amazing. Im going to try and replicate it for christmas with my family. We will definitely be back and signed up for the Fat Bob points. For being a male packed scene... the atmosphere was cozy and still intimate. It was nice cause we could be nosey and see what other people had ordered so we knew what to try next time....Like the chicken the wings. Great spot! "I really wanted to like this restaurant because of my love for barbecue. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. I was excited to see the sampling of barbecue protein on the fire top grill. The best part of the grill would have to be the chickenwings. They had great smoky flavor. Unfortunately the ribs were over cooked and super dry. This is disappointing especially whenthe restaurant is called Smokey bones. The steak that we ordered medium rare was more on the rare side and had this odd purpletint to it. When the waiter brought out the grill, he cautioned us about the grill cover, as it could not be secured due tobeing over used. The last disappointing part was we had signed up for the smoky bones club which would give us $10 off our firstmeal. The waiter could not pull up the account on the website as it was down. Even after I showed him the email on my phone,there was no discussion with the manager to try to honor the promotion. I know it wasn’t his fault so I let it fly but overallthis was a disappointing experience."

"We've ate at a smokey bones before and it was fantastic. This is our second time and we're very impressed with the customer service of this location. We called hours before we were coming and they were prepared when we got here. I discussed my steak with Randy before coming and who actual set a steak aside for me. Told me John would help me out when I got here. Upon arrival they were both here and knew exactly what was going on. Communication was excellent and the service was outstanding. They were very attentive to my order. Very professional while also very down to earth. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Location to anyone!"
