"The atmosphere was quite depressing, with no holiday decorations in sight. Instead of festive music, they played rock music at an uncomfortable volume. The only nod to Christmas was the red and green napkins.
The service was abysmal! I ordered a glass of wine, and it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. A starter was brought out without any explanation, turning out to be dry pork on an unappealing crust, accompanied by other unidentifiable items that lacked any flavor. One of the starters was lobster bisque, but it was served with a teaspoon instead of a soup spoon, making it nearly impossible to eat without spilling.
For the main course, we chose the prime rib. However, it seemed they ran out of properly cooked meat prior to our arrival because the edges were cooked, but most of the meat was so undercooked that it was inedible. Dessert was served while our dinner plates were still on the table. When we asked to take the uneaten meat home to cook it ourselves, they simply dropped plastic containers on the table for us to pack it up.
I had no idea that the Hyatt had deteriorated to this level! It was an absolutely terrible dining experience, made even worse by the poor service. It was so bad, it became almost comical. I strongly recommend staying as far away from this restaurant (and hotel chain) as possible. Caveat emptor!"
