"I was surprised to learn that the restaurant was Asian-owned, given its location in the Bayview district. I ordered a beef rib, brisket, and pork rib takeout with sides of cole slaw and mac and cheese. I was disappointed with the food. The beef ribs were small and lacked a thick piece of meat on the rib. The meat easily came off the bone, but it lacked the firmness that I look for in ribs. The brisket was shredded, resembling pulled pork rather than the sliced smoky brisket I was expecting. The pork ribs were small and overcooked, with the meat falling off the bone. The dishes all had a smoky flavor, but lacked distinction. The cole slaw was roughly cut and underseasoned, while the mac and cheese was firm and lacked sauce. Overall, I was not impressed and will look for a better place to eat."
