"Fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere was buzzing and had a great vibe in there. We were greeted with a smile and shown straight to our table. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. He had a great sense of humour and with his charm and wit put us at ease straight away. We were rather overwhelmed by the menu having lots of tasty options we found it hard to choose!! And sensing our confusion our waiter came over and offered advice and help and his own personal recommendations (the Korean BBQ Wings WOW). The cocktails were delicious and the food was every bit as nice as it sounded. All for what we felt were very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would not hesitate to return next time we are in the area!"

"So delicious! We came to Sweet Auburn Barbeque for a late lunch—parking was a bit tough, but when we finally found a spot and walked over, we were promptly seated in the restaurant. The inside decor was so nice and festive for the holiday season. On the menu, it was cool that they had traditional BBQ and southern cuisine options, as well as Asian-inspired items too. The food took a bit of time to come out, but was so worth the wait. We got the Brunswick stew bowl, Sweet Auburn BBQ plate with chicken and pork, pulled pork bowl, and eat your veggies (4 sides) plate. Everything tasted amazing. The cheddar grits were phenomenal, as were the green beans and collard greens. The fries were very fluffy and fresh too. Would absolutely recommend Sweet Auburn BBQ!!"

"Came up from Charlotte for the Mt. Mitchell Craft Fair which was huge and great! I had seen good reviews for this BBQ place, so we did the short walk from the craft fair and came for lunch. It is a cute place inside. Our server was phenomenal. They have like 6 or 7 different types of BBQ sauce on the table. We both had the pulled pork platter with hush puppies and 2 sides. First, let me say this was probably the best pulled pork we have ever eaten. It was lean, flavorful, and a huge portion for $12. The hushpuppies were good. I always ask for a side of honey as hushpuppies dipped in honey just brings out the flavor. For my sides I had fried okra, which was average. I had like 3 pieces where the hard stalk was still on it and had to spit out. The other side was the bacon cheddar grits. These were good but I expected more flavor with both bacon and cheddar in them. I would not order either of those sides again. My husband had the onion rings which are good not great. They are super crispy. He also had the BBQ Street corn, and it was delicious. By far, the best side. Also, the sweet tea was great! It was so much food for the money. This is a great place, and we will be back!"

"The food was good, however they were not busy but it took us a very long time to get our drinks, and the server was not informative on which drinks were which when we asked about the flights we ordered. His whole demeanor was annoyed and unfriendly. For the price you pay plus the required 20% tip it was not very enjoyable. I'd like to actually be able to tip on the SERVICE given not the price of the food."

"The best beer bar and restaurant anywhere! Their beer selection is meticulously curated and features amazing options for true beer enthusiasts. And the food? The kitchen takes its craft very seriously. Everything you order is bound to be fantastic, with each dish reflecting the love and attention put into it. You can't go wrong with any of the house classics on the regular menu, and they frequently have incredible specials as well. I truly believe their burgers are the best in the city—absolutely delicious! The staff is fantastic too. This is my go-to neighborhood spot, and they genuinely treat customers like family. I always feel right at home there!"
