"Second time at this neighborhood restaurant. I'd seen the negative reviews before going the first time but the group I was with all enjoyed their meal. This time more mixed results. I found myself agreeing with prior complaints about the paltry portions of protein in the tacos. I am surprised those complaints haven't been taken to heart by the restaurant it wouldn't be that heavy a lift to throw a few more chunks of chicken into the mix of onion and cabbage. One of our party was surprised by the amount of heat in her rockfish ceviche and thought it might be worthy of a mention on the menu. Ince she located the peppers in the dish she simply chose not to eat all of them and had a better experience. In the other hand my husband thoroughly enjoyed his tamales and we all enjoyed the chips and guac."

"I’m not sure who made Dave famous but this food was absolutely horrible and the service was even worse. This was my first visit here as I am a travel nurse. I had a party of three and all three orders were wrong, the utensils were dirty and it took almost 40 minutes to receive our food. The salmon was chewy and the food, except the mashed potatoes were cold as this is because they had to bring those later because they gave me incorrect sides. After expressing concerns the waitress said she would tell the manager who never came out to see what was wrong. I still left a tip but not as large as usual due to the horrible experience. Oh and we never received macaroni and cheese that was ordered even after letting the waitress know. Won’t be visiting here again."

"I was really disappointed with the management in that NO reservation accommodations were made for our Holiday dinner. I call ahead and was told all the reservations had to be made with Kenny and when our group arrived the staff had NO instructions about the pre-organized sitting. The only priority I had asked for is one group seating in the side room. Our group was crammed into groupings and we were uncomfortably close together. Very frustrating because there was only ONE family in the back room so with a minute of staff communication it could have been ideal. We asked about the arrangements and the on duty manager had no idea and made clear she had NO instructions about our group. When the food came out, the carriers just yelled out the order, no idea to whom the food belonged. My personal experience with the Cajun Chicken Sandwich was the chicken was so hard only a couple bites were possible and the service was so hectic it seemed impossible to return without further affecting the service my friends were receiving. Famous Daves is good with two people but lesson learned on twenty two people. Holiday dinner is our only gift to our team and this year our gift was not at all what we had hoped."

"On 12/30/2021 I scheduled a pickup order for 12/31/2021 at 4:30pm. On the day, I was told my order wasn't ready, that they were a little behind. I wouldn't have minded waiting 15-20 minutes. But I received my order 1hr and 20 min later, which seems a little extreme given that I had scheduled a pickup. In addition, I ordered the All Am. BBQ Feast, but there was no Brisket, it was all ribs, and the ribs weren't even ready because they were very tough. For $103.97, I expected better quality food, and the food I originally ordered. I have already left my comments on the online form (twice) and no one has even tried to contact me. This is ridiculous and I really wanted to rate a 0 but the lowest I can give is 1 star."

"New Montana Location Review. Recently visited. Restaurant was busy. The service received for a busy night was phenomenal! The server was on every detail. When she was helping other tables, other servers stopped by to help in her place. That staff was well trained for exceptional customer service and worked as a team. Amazing team concept. The food came out fast and it was pipping HOT! This little FD establishment dishes out Big Time Service and Quality Food. A must! You won’t believe it until you experience it. I’m going back soon!"

"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had no expectations going in. The service was excellent; I didn’t even need to ask for salt and pepper as they were brought to us right away. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Our booth was comfortable, and we enjoyed nice views. I also appreciated being able to see the large TV on the wall nearby. The atmosphere felt cozy. The food was delicious, and I liked how the menu was straightforward. Their three combo options allow you to select up to three meats and two sides, offering a variety of choices without being too overwhelming. I ordered the Southwest Rib Tips as one meat, along with green beans and fries as my sides. It was quite a bit of food, so I brought leftovers home to enjoy later. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, and we will definitely return."

"We hace been eating in foumous daves everytime we come to Town this is the last time. The platter for 2-3 persons was just enough for one!!! Very scarce. For the price... Mmmm not returning. A shame. Because the food is great but the portions are Very little compared to other years."

"We had reservations for 5:30. We arrived on time and our table was waiting. Our server was beautiful and explains the different sauces, etc. and was promptly on our beverage order. It took a while before our order arrived, but our server stopped us from progressing. Waiting was worth it. The ribs were very tasteful and the side was also good. We took home enough next night. I would recommend Famous Dave to everyone."

"Slow seating, slow wait staff, and slow bar service all on a night with maybe customers in the whole place. It seemed the limited staff on hand were not working together and were not sure of who was doing what. We had reservations for four people at Took until almost to get out of there and they actually close early at no doubt due to the lack of employees. All that being said, the food quality had not suffered at all. It was excellent, just took forever to get it. Very sad, we like FD and hope as time goes on they can get past this, perhaps a new manager would organize the limited staff resources better?"

"We arrived at 3 PM with a group of 16 people. We placed our orders within 15 minutes, but it took an hour and a half to receive our food! To make matters worse, some of the orders were incorrect, the food was cold, and the brisket had clearly been reheated—it just didn’t taste fresh at all. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing, and on top of it all, it was Mother’s Day! Others who arrived after us were served before we were. I understand they had parties of seven, but that doesn’t excuse the service. Our waitress was very sweet and did her best, but I cannot recommend this restaurant at all!"
