"The three of us were pleasantly seated by the hostess. A few minutes later, while two of us were in the washroom, a server came to the table and rudely said the table was reserved, that we had to move, and walked away. As our friend found another table she could hear the server scolding the hostess who seated us. When we were all seated we asked about seeing the manager. This same person appeared (he was the manager) and aggressively denied he had been rude and exclaimed that he had been courteous and polite. Ironically he kept interrupting and talking over our friend as she tried to tell her version of events. He appeared quite agitated. We decided to leave as his behaviour was unacceptable. He followed us to the door all the while vehemently denying that he had mistreated us. His last words were, ‘I’m glad (you’re leaving)!’"
