"Just got back from a weekend stay at the Manor, and we had a very mixed experience. First, the great stuff: the staff was top notch, consistently friendly and helpful, going above and beyond whenever they could. The room was very comfortable, clean, and cute. Beautiful view of the water, even though the hotel is not right on it. Afternoon tea and evening cookies are a nice touch. The downsides: The onsite dining is underwhelming, to say the least. Breakfast foods were hit or miss, and dinner was expensive and not very good. Only exception was the specials, so if you need to eat there, I would recommend sticking to those, probably because those ingredients are most likely to be fresh and tasty. The rest was pretty universally disappointing. The pool needed to be cleaned more often. And perhaps most importantly, the building is not handicapped accessible at all. There are steps just to get into the front entrance, and a flight of steps up to most of the rooms, with no elevator. Bottom line, if the room and service are most important to you, you can certainly enjoy your stay there. I would just recommend eating elsewhere.
