"We tried the specials of the day, starting with the breaded white fish. It was outstanding, perfectly cooked with a delightful egg batter, and the fingerling potatoes were excellent! On the other hand, the ramp pesto pasta was a bit disappointing. While the fish was served at an ideal eating temperature, the pesto was just at room temperature, which didn’t quite work. The mussels and clams were good, although one of the mussels was not fresh. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but its texture was odd at room temperature.
The chocolate mousse and caramel dessert was fantastic, truly a highlight! Afterward, our waiter claimed their eclairs were the best around, so we decided to order one, but it was a significant letdown. The dough was old and crumbly, and upon the first bite, the eclair split open, spilling its filling everywhere, which was quite off-putting at the end of our meal."
