"I came here with my parents and my girlfriend on a Sunday night. We made a reservation earlier that day, came in, and were seated immediately. We ordered some shared apps and our entrees. I ordered the duck breast, which was $40, my father ordered chicken, and my mother ordered red snapper. They were nice enough to accommodate my girlfriend 's request to add an extra two sliders to turn an appetizer into a main. The apps were okay but were fairly underwhelming. Don 't get the oxtail with the gnocchi the oxtail is actually pretty good, but the gnocchi was mushy and unappetizing. We also got red snapper ceviche which was okay but mostly just grapefruit and micro greens, and not much actual fish. We also the eggplant wrapped lamb, which was seasoned well but dry. Our problems came later. After waiting over an hour for the mains, we called over our waiter who apologized and said our orders was fired and should be out shortly. A while later and still nothing. I could see that the other tables there had the same issue they 'd been here longer than we had and still didn 't get their food. We were seriously considering leaving. I asked the waiter if he could get some bread for while he wait and he came out with nasty stale rolls...I wouldn 't be surprised if they 'd been frozen for a few months. It was probably another 20 30 minutes before the entrees finally came out. I immediately noticed that my duck was overcooked the meat was gray and rubbery. Quality aside, it was half the size that a duck breast is supposed to be. I told the waiter to take it back. As for the others...my girlfriend 's sliders were definitely not as nice as other pictures I 've seen of them (I included a picture I took in this review), but she liked them. Their brisket is pretty good. However, my father 's chicken was so tough that he needed a steak knife to cut it, and my mother 's red snapper was too salty for her to finish. The manager saw my plate being taken to the kitchen he talked to the waiter for a minute and then walked over to our table. I explained to him that the duck was overcooked and he apologized and said something along the lines of, it 's usually not like this, I 'm very sorry that you 're having a disappointing experience. We 'll take this off your bill. Would you like to offer something else from the menu? My appetite was ruined after having a two hour wait ended by overcooked food, and I told him that I would just eat from what other people at my table ordered. While we were talking, the owner came over. He first asked my if I was sure that I had ordered my duck rare (in a tone of voice that suggested that he thought it crazy someone would do that). I confirmed that I did, and he immediately said that it was definitely rare even though I 'm pretty certain that he didn 't even see it. I told him it wasn 't, and explained to him that I know exactly what a rare duck breast should look and feel like, and I could tell what the had done was certainly not the right way to prepare it. He continued to argue and then walked off. After he left, the manager apologized again. After our meal, our waiter (who was very nice, by the way) brought out a complimentary dessert and told us that they had taken 20% off our bill. It still came out to $200. For that long of a wait for such mediocre and overpriced food, followed by an owner who can 't admit fault and clearly has no culinary, management, or service experience, I would definitely never come back to this place."
