"Southern Pig Cattle Co. offers incredibly tender meat that impresses every time. I've enjoyed their brisket twice, and both servings were excellent. While I'm not used to the shaved cut style of serving, it works well here. Today, I also tried the baby back ribs, which simply melted in my mouth. The sweet cornbread was moist and delicious—I really loved it. On the downside, the $4.50 peach cobbler was disappointing. It was more like a dense block, nothing like any cobbler I've had before, with barely three slices of peaches and no juice at all. It was nearly frozen when served. Thankfully, I had a microwave on hand, but I ended up discarding most of it. Overall, the menu at Southern Pig Cattle Co. is filled with standout dishes, though some desserts could use improvement."
