"So we eat here almost every Saturday for all you can eat ribs. But the service has been HORRIBLE the kids working here have zero sense of work ethic or common sense. Before anyone thinks staffing shortages they had 11 people working and we stood at counter in line for over 28 mins without 1 order being taken. The rib refills never came and when you asked for them they staff acted as if it was a huge inconvenience. It was actually painful dining here tonight. The food was fine."

"8402 Kingston Pike. Ticket CNT44. Today at Buddy’s our lunch left a lot to be desired. They had no lettuce. Who runs out of lettuce? WalMart is across the street. Go buy a head of lettuce. The tomato on the turkey sandwich was so green it was crunchy. I know you can buy better tomatoes. This is July and we live in tomato country. I would be embarrassed to serve those. "I've tried BBQ all across the United States, and I can say that the pork, brisket, ribs, potato salad, beans, coleslaw, and hush puppies here were even better than some of the Texas BBQ I've had. "I have always loved Buddy's but not so much now. The food is still okay but the customer service is horrendous. The employees (the majority of them) are rude and hateful. My 82 year old dad was treated so bad by the cashier and he was only asking a question about the order. You will wait in the drive thru for over 30 minutes and inside at least 45 minutes. "Had the all you can eat ribs. This was the first time I wished I could eat more than I can. The ribs were meaty with just the right amount of smokiness to their flavor. I ate way too many and was stuffed to the gills but the discomfort was worth it. Their fries brought me back to the crisp hot fries of my youth. Too many restaurants today don't seem able to make a French fry with a crisp outside, tender inside but Buddy's has found that balance. I'll be back and back, and back!!!!"
