"I had the veg plate: Fried parmesean corn, tofu and a side salad. The corn was really delicious. The tofu was perfectly prepared, and the side salad was very fresh. I like this place because you can go with a meat-eater and have lots of veg selections everybody's happy. On a different occasion, I had the sweet potato pancake (one of their specialities). Ooooh, it was SO good. Good place. I like the one on Hendersonville Road, as opposed to the smaller one in downtown; it's much roomier and easier to get in."

"We had our friends in from out of town. We ordered drinks that took minutes to receive and minutes before we were able to order our meal due to our waitress being MIA. I spoke with the manager and he advised there were two large parties so they were behind. Totally understandable, however, it didn’t seem like our waitress was hosting the other tables and completely ignored us the entire night. Our friend wanted another drink and finally went to the bar as she would not come back to check on us. When she came back to our table, she confronted him about how he went to the bar. There was nothing else to say except she never came back to ask if we needed anything else. We finally received a new waiter and he was much more hospitable and apologetic. I think she told him she wasn’t going to wait on us after that. The meal was comped and the second waiter made up for the waitress we initially had. I just have never had such poor service in my life and our friends were equally just as shocked"

"The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere really encourages conversation. We saw another table playing the game "Sorry," which added to the fun vibe. Be prepared to wait, as it can get quite busy, but it's definitely worth it. I ordered the stuffed French toast with chocolate toppings, scrambled eggs with cheese, turkey sausage, and hash browns. I wasn't a fan of the hash browns, though; they weren't burnt, but they were overcooked, haha. I love that they're open 24 hours, so there's always time to visit. You won't regret it!"

"I had Chicken Tortilla Soup, which was the thickest stew I've ever encountered, and the cornbread was the worst—hard, dry, and lacking flavor. There was definitely something off about it; it looked old in the picture I took. Additionally, there was no washed silverware available, so we had to use cheap plastic utensils to tackle our meals, including the Chicken Fried Steak. We also waited over 20 minutes for potato soup that was supposed to accompany one of the Chicken Fried Steak dinners. The best thing we had was the fries. This restaurant seems to be run by inexperienced staff, and it shows—there were no adults in sight from the kitchen to the servers and register. After spending $175 (including tip), it’s safe to say we won’t be returning!"

"This place is always amazing ????. Stagg is very friendly and thorough and food is always good. They offer affordable menu items that are always freshly cooked. Many of their specialty items like their fruit cup, chili, cottage cheese, assortedbutters are always very fresh and you never have any issues with them being old or seeming as if they were prepared the daybefore. We ordered carry out today and the order was spot on. The waitress got everything right and gave us plenty of jelly,syrup, napkins etc. My husband and I have eaten in there as well and it's never been disappointing he loves their burger and itsalways cooked perfectly medium for him. I got the Rachel sandwich a twist on a rueben, I am usually not a big fan of rye bread,but the sandwich was awesome. They also have a dessert case when you walk in and they have some really tasty selections, we havegotten nutella stuffed cookies and canolis and all sorts of things, those also never disappointed us. They are only open from 6AM to 3 PM when they are open is the only thing that bums me out ! I wish they has longer hours since we work we only have theweekend to order out on Saturday. Overall a very good hole in the wall local place worth trying."

"Nice Place!. It's in my neighborhood so I decided to try it out on St Pat's Day. After a less pleasant experience elsewhere, I decided I still wanted a corned beef dinner to go and so I called them up, It was ready to go when I got there 10 minutes later and the server was very polite. Got home and it was just what I expected- terrific! The menu looks varied enough to be interesting, if not quite fabulous. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there, but I'm sure I'll drop in again. Nice to have them nearby."

"I asked that my sirloin steak be cooked well. steak was very thin, overboiled and very dry. the waitress asked if she could get me another one and at the time I said no. I've heard stories about what happens when they send her food back. my friend had the same meal, was perfect. her steak was much thicker than mine. salat and green beans were good, although very vaccinated on green beans. service was excellent. although I would not recommend that the meal to everyone the restaurant was nice."

"I enjoyed my date. It was busier than I expected. We got there about an hour and 15 minutes before they closed. Our waitress was nice but just a little overwhelmed. They were under staffed but we were patient. The bar took forever getting out our drinks. Our waitress said her other table just waited 45 mins for their drink as well. We got an appetizer, boneless honey bbq wings but there was a chip in our bbq sauce that looked pretty gross. Our waitress fixed it for us. The food was really good though. I enjoyed it. Took half home and it didn't make it thru the night. "Took awhile for someone to come take our drink order, but other than that it was pretty good. I travel all over the US and order a medium cheeseburger and this is the only place in probably 3 yrs that I actually got a medium burger. My girlfriend got a BLTand had so much bacon on it I swear I heard it oink lol. Side salad could use a little work, only lettuce, cucumber, and cherrytomatoes. I don't eat tomatoes so it was just lettuce and cucumber. Not that great. Thank for a wonderful dinner on shot in thewind on trying a place. If I'm back in the area I will definitely return. "I don't understand how this restaurant has such high ratings because it was a complete disaster. They were out of desserts and the milkshakes had no flavor despite using only 2 types of ice cream. We received the wrong food and the mistake was blamed on the customer even though there were 6 of us to confirm the waitress's error. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and the burgers tasted like dog food. On top of all that, none of our orders were cooked or delivered properly. Absolutely disgusting."

"I ordered the southern omelette with fries. Everything tastes great and actually tasted fresh! This is one of the only joints I've been to where it tasted like the toast was fresh out of the toaster. The omelette and fries paired well and both were very good. My wife ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast with fries instead of hash browns. She said everything tastes fresh and was very good. My son ordered the kids pancake and sausage. It was pretty cool that they put whipped cream in the shape of eyes and a mouth. Most places I've been don't do something like that. He devoured the order, which is his normal routine because he loves both pancakes and sausage. All in all, I recommend this joint! If your thinking about giving it a try or are in the area, don't hesitate to head over. I'll definitely be coming back!"
