"For the takeout, my order arrived in 30 minutes via a delivery service. I can't complain about the speed, but the pizza was lukewarm, the sauce was barely noticeable, and the salad came in a prepackaged container that had clearly been sitting out for a long time. I’m puzzled as to why the quality was different from what I had in person. When ordering takeout, I expect the food to be at its best, especially since delivery can affect quality.
Overall, I didn’t enjoy either experience. I probably won’t return. On a positive note, one staff member at the front was very friendly, while the rest hardly acknowledged me.
I want to emphasize that the food delivered was not the same quality as what I received when dining in; the pizza wasn’t made well, the sauce was minimal, and the toppings were sparse. I understand that delivery can impact the food's temperature and texture, but I live just three minutes away. If it takes 20 minutes to prepare and then sits for about 7 minutes in a warmer, it should at least be warm upon arrival, but it was hardly that.
The bigger disappointment was the salad. For takeout, I expect a freshly made salad, especially since I pay extra for it through delivery apps. I paid $18 for that small, soggy salad, which was nothing like the generous, veggie-filled, fresh salad I had when dining in.
I’m sharing this feedback not to insult anyone but to offer honest and constructive criticism that I hope you'll take into account. Takeout and delivery meals should be prepared with the same care as dine-in meals. I’ve been a regular at the restaurant across the street for years, and I appreciate the food and experience there much more."
