"Waiters looked very stressed and chaotic, bumping into each other and also not attentive to us. We waited 25 minutes for a basic appetizer and kept noticing how distracted the wait staff looked. One waiter got into a fight with a guest over a photograph he tried to take with his family (the restaurant oddly has a no flash photography policy frankly it was not worth the resulting fight for the waiter to call out the guest given the loud fight and cursing that ensued. Later that same waiter tried to enlist us in his support by telling us how obnoxious the other guest was after he and his family left. Unprofessional and unnecessary. . Then when we were served a complementary dessert on a nice plate we remarked to him how nice the plate was and he answered “Yeah it doesn’t matter if the food tastes like **** as long as the presentation is good.” We laughed but not because we found his comment funny it was awkward. Never again."

"We were pleasantly surprised to find that this restaurant was not too crowded when we visited on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. The atmosphere is very laid-back and whimsical. Tucked away in a small corner, the outdoor terrace was not overly noisy. We tried the wings and the black bean burger, both of which were delicious. I would also recommend trying the "world's smallest chocolate sundae." It's a tiny shot of chocolate syrup served with ice cream and whipped cream, but it's absolutely delicious. It's just the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling too heavy. Overall, a great experience - we will definitely be returning."

"Questioning why this stand-alone restaurant is now listed as a hotel. But the rooms (food), service, and location (atmosphere) were all excellent! Our table faced a great view of Buffalo Mountain (left) and Silverthorne Mountain (center). From their lunch menu, I had the Salmon BLT with the aioli sauce and a side cup of Tomato Bisque soup. I savored every bite. In fact, I wondered if I should get another cup of the soup before concluding that the meal was just the right amount of food! My spouse had the Ranch Burger with fries, and gave me the arugula salad and avocado from it, so I had the perfect lunch here. Kudos to the servers, who brought carafes of ice-cold still water and Diet Pepsi for us to refresh our drinks as desired. I 'd book in at this hotel again any day! But next time, judging by other reviews, for dinner."

"I stopped visiting this gas station a few years ago due to various issues, but after returning, I can truly see how much it has improved. The place is now clean, offers some of the best gas prices in the area, and the staff are friendly. There’s also a great selection of food and dessert options available. Overall, it has a modern vibe. The only downside I noticed is the soda machine, which looks outdated and seems to be at least a decade old. Each drink has its own dispenser, which is a bit unusual. However, this is the only real flaw I could find, and it's not enough to affect my overall positive impression."

"To start. The salads were fresh and good. My wife had the deconstructed ravioli. It was good. She enjoyed it. I got the hamburger. This is where the problem was. I asked for it to be medium well. It came out it was raw in the middle. On top of that it didn't have any flavor, to the point that I didn't even want to mess with sending it back. Very disappointed. The homemade fries were very good. The deserts we're very good. We got deserts to share. One was the bagnets very good and fun watching my wife inject them was great. I got the Alaskan- which was Chocolate cake with ice cream and smothered with marshmallow then torched like a s'mores. It was outstanding. Overall. Good fun place. Would go back just not for the burger"

"I ordered a pizza and breadsticks, specifically requesting no mushrooms due to an allergy. Despite this, my pizza was full of mushrooms. When I called to address the issue, the woman who answered didn’t respond at all. I wasn’t rude or upset, so I’m not sure why she was so unresponsive. I even had to ask if she was there, and she just replied yes. There was no apology or offer to replace the pizza with something safe for me to eat. Becca, in particular, was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken with."

"I went Christmas shopping with two friends, and after we left Target, we decided to stop at Huck's for gas and drinks. We parked at the first pump near the building, which had a pink and black zebra stripe design, and went inside to prepay and grab our beverages. To our surprise, the place was eerily quiet, and we couldn't find anyone. We even considered whether we should call the police since there was no attendant visible and we had been waiting inside for almost five minutes. Just as I was about to step outside to get my phone, the cashier finally emerged from the back. He was very friendly and polite, but he definitely startled us! Afterward, I noticed the menu looked interesting, and I'd love to come back to try some food along with the drinks next time."

"The staff at Huck's can be rather unfriendly and often seem annoyed when you approach them during their conversations. There’s a noticeable absence of good customer service. While the gas prices are competitive, nearby stations provide much better deals. I'm also baffled by their choice of short windshield cleaners; it’s quite difficult to clean a minivan's windshield with a handle that's only 12 inches long. Overall, Huck's is just mediocre at best, even with their varied menu."
