"I do not write reviews often. The food here was subpair. Pizza tasted like cardboard and must have been left out waiting to be served for hours. That was bad but when I asked why they did not have a sign up stating that there was a surcharge for Credit cards he pointed to a 2by 4 inch sign on the cash register he was not using that stated there was a discount for cash. He then started to verbal abusing me. After I would not be intimated by his verbal abuse he rush me holding his wooden pizza paddle with the handle in my face. The man is a bully and NO ONE SHOULD EAT IN HIS RESTARANT. As he is physical threating me he keeps saying I want to hit him. I told he no I did not but it looked like he wanted to hit me, This is a man who should not deal with people and has anger issue. I am only sorry that I did not call the police when he threaten me."

"My wife and I have been regulars at this restaurant for the past four years, and it never disappoints—consistently excellent every time. After moving to Brentwood about two years ago, we make it a point to stop by Koji whenever we're in the area. The food is almost addictive; just the thought of its aroma, flavor, and the excitement of enjoying the deliciousness that is Koji can draw you in. You may find yourself heading to this culinary paradise without even realizing it."

"We had an amazing lunch at this restaurant! We ordered the Hibachi chicken with a variety of vegetables such as carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, and zucchini. The flavors were perfectly cooked and tasted even better the next day. The chicken was cut and grilled into small, delicious pieces that were not dry. The standout dishes were the soft and flavorful rice and the delicious Koji Express sauce. We were able to place our order online and have it picked up without any issues. I called to confirm the order and everything went smoothly with all items being correct. My only suggestions for improvement are to please return the tupperware and include names on online orders to help differentiate them. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal."

"This place serves incredibly delicious food at a very reasonable price! We drive 55 minutes from the west side of Nashville just to enjoy it. Our son, who attends MTSU, introduced us to this gem, and it’s truly fantastic! I usually go for the steak, but honestly, the shrimp is equally delightful—it really just depends on my mood. The portion sizes are very generous, and I tend to eat more than most people, yet I always leave feeling satisfied. It’s so good that even though I dislike carrots, I can’t help but devour these! The yum yum sauce is the icing on the cake! Without a doubt, this is one of my top five favorite places to eat! Don’t miss out—you won’t regret it. The service is always fast and friendly. We’ve visited both Murfreesboro locations, and the staff is consistently nice and welcoming, with the same great taste every time. The restaurant is clean, and I often leave thinking about opening my own location or planning to return for dinner that very night. Plus, it’s all gluten-free, which my wife absolutely loves. An update from December 17, 2021: I'm glad to say it's still amazing, and I highly recommend it!"
