"I have just a couple of minor complaints, so I deducted only one star. Here they are for those interested: (1) Before making my New Year's Eve reservation, I called the restaurant to ask if they would have a fixed menu or if we could order from the regular menu. I was informed that we could order from the menu, which was critical for me since I'm on a special diet. I reviewed the menu online that morning and made my selections before arriving. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication; we were presented with a prix fixe menu, none of which included the items I was excited about. (2) Additionally, my mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best, and the butter did not melt on them. Despite these minor issues, the four of us genuinely enjoyed our experience, largely due to our excellent waiter. I can’t remember his name now, but I made sure to inform the manager of how great he was."
