"The sudden closure of a downtown bakery nearly a year ago was a devastating loss for a neighborhood that already had plenty of restaurants, but very few affordable and delicious Mexican options that also served breakfast burritos. The reopening of this bakery is a welcomed return. While the menu has been streamlined and the interiors updated, the food remains the same. Their breakfast burrito is a must-try in the East Village. Visit and cross your fingers that this restaurant never shuts down again."
