"In our visits, we’ve tried a variety of dishes, including lasagna, Pappardelle Bolognese, pork chop, lobster ravioli, and chicken fettuccine, along with several desserts. Everything has been excellent, and I would recommend anything on the menu. I'm particularly eager to try one of their flambé desserts since very few places still offer that spectacular dessert experience!
Their Tapas Wednesdays are a real delight because you can sample several dishes at once, and they feature live music on weekends, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful meal. The musicians are always at a good volume—not too loud or intrusive.
While they do get busy and service can sometimes be a bit slow—in fact, we waited an hour from ordering to receiving our food last night—we didn’t mind because we enjoyed the music and ambiance while we waited. I highly recommend making reservations, especially on weekends.
My only complaint is their limited wine options by the glass, and they don’t allow patrons to bring their own wine either. I would gladly pay a corkage fee to enjoy a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc with my meal, and we would certainly visit more often if they offered it. Aside from that minor wine issue, which is a personal preference, Mezzanotte is truly a local gem.
In summary, definitely make a reservation and visit on a weekend when they have entertainment!"
