"We decided to visit Kawee Thai Cuisine after seeing its high ratings, but our experience left us disappointed. Even though it was a Saturday, the restaurant was completely empty, and we were the only customers. The menu items we chose did not reflect authentic Thai flavors and did not meet our expectations. My husband's Chicken with Peanut Sauce was underwhelming, and my duck noodle soup surprisingly contained chicken wing tips and an excessive amount of bones. We were puzzled by the positive reviews since our meal fell short of the hype. Overall, we left dissatisfied and do not intend to return to Kawee Thai Cuisine in the future."

"Good drinks with a nice happy hours menu of tasty apps. Dinner was very good Thai cuisine. Super convenient for nearby show venues. Only negatives, and this is for ALL OF SAN FRANCISCO and similar communities, is that all restaurants and shows are FORCED to check vaccine cards and ID before allowing entry and then require masks indoors. Very discriminatory and tyrannical government overreach that the poor small business owners have to endure to stay in business. In addition, watch your tip in SF, as you will already be charged an employee benefit fee. I always deduct this fee from my typical tip"

"The restaurant features a completely vegan menu with specialties inspired by various regions of Thailand. We visited because I had always heard great things about it, even though they didn't initially cater to vegans. The experience was fantastic! I tried the spicy tofu eggplant dish, and it was even better than I expected! I was thrilled with the authentic spicy level. We also enjoyed a mango dessert with boba and a Thai beer. The food was served super quickly, and the portion sizes were very reasonable for the price. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant was busy, which is a good sign! We left with absolutely no leftovers because the food was so delicious. I can't wait to return!"

"This was our 2nd visit to Soi4 Bangkok Eatery. We were so impressed the first time, that we came back for another try. Almost everyone at the table took advantage of the lunch specials which were a decent value. The Pad Thai and Red Curry Prawns were just as amazing the 2nd time. The noodle dish with beef, pineapple fried rice. and lemongrass chicken were all winners as well. Everything in each of the dishes was fresh, cooked perfectly, and had amazing flavor. If you like Thai food, this is the place to be!"

"The servers were incredibly friendly however the service was poor. They didn’t appear to be busy, only 3 or 4 tables yet we had to track someone down when we needed to order drinks, food and the check. We were seated at our table for about 15 minutes before I looked for someone to take our drink order. Timing between courses was long. My steak was undercooked. However, I must say, the gluten free pizza was INCREDIBLE and I will be back for that but probably take out."

"this place is great. We went on our first date here 16 years ago so we relive it every year. The only thing is the service has never improved. (the people are extremely nice, all of them) Helpful hint to the establishment: the drinks are so good! "I have never had Thai food before but this place was really good and authentic. When you walk in you notice that there's no condiments or salt and pepper on the tables and that's because the food is seasoned so perfectly you don't need to change a thing. I had a chicken fried rice with sweet basil curry and it was delicious. The wait staff was very attentive. Only drawback they forgot my Thai iced tea. I waited till we got the bill and after seeing we were charged I requested it in a to go cup."

"This is our favorite spot for Thai food. We ordered several appetizers along with one main dish, but honestly, the appetizers were so tasty that they could have constituted a full meal on their own. The view of the river and the bridge was a lovely bonus. It's a small restaurant, so the staff is very attentive to your needs. It's become quite popular for takeout, with a designated section of the restaurant just for that purpose. However, parking can be a bit tricky, as there is an attendant directing cars in the area."

"We happened to be in Centreville and decided to try a new restaurant. We were craving Thai food, so we started looking for options. We ordered summer rolls, green curry, and pad Thai, and opted for medium spiciness. First off, the dishes had a wonderful aroma and taste. You could tell they used quality ingredients without skimping. The summer rolls were packed with fresh vegetables and shrimp. Both the pad Thai and green curry were generously portioned with meat and vegetables, and the sauces were rich and flavorful. If you're in the mood for Thai cuisine, I highly recommend checking this place out; they really know how to do it right! Just a note: if you can't handle too much heat, I'd suggest going for mild instead of medium. I love spicy food, but I know some might find the medium spiciness a bit intense."

They opened just before Covid so may not be as well known and they are excellent! They have two menus one that is completely vegetarian, which I love filled with lots of interesting combination of fresh ingredients and sauces. Everyone who works there is always super friendly, the place is beautifully decorated, with lots of natural light, fresh flowers on every table, and the place is very clean. They offer patio and indoor seating, too. Give them a try you 'll have a new favorite Thai restaurant, too! Since that original posting, we 'd mostly been ordering out from this restaurant. Until last night. While the food was still great (still delicious, beautifully presented, etc. , there was nothing Charm ing about eating in because the place was very dirty. A huge turn off! I worked in food service for 20+ years and know that if the front of the house is dirty, it 's more than likely that the back of the house is, too. I wouldn 't want to bring anyone to this restaurant (or return, myself for this reason alone. The entry door and bathroom door were black from what looks like years of greasy hand prints (gross , the floors white mini tiles that used to glow are mostly dark grey/black, all the lighting fixtures (including those over the cook line are covered with dusty grease. To top it off, I watched one of the staff behind the line (wearing a hair net but no gloves eating out of a to go box a huge no no in food service sanitary standards. PLEASE, Charm Thai Bistro, clean your space and your act. You 've lost our business until you do."

"I'm giving this restaurant a one-star rating, but it's important to note that my criticism is directed solely at the service, not the food, which I found to be excellent. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by an exceptionally rude waitress. After we had been seated for 20 minutes, she approached our table and immediately asked if we were ready to order. When I asked why we needed to be completely ready, she responded, "Because if you're not, I'll have to come back." I was taken aback by her attitude. I never intended for her to have to return multiple times; isn't it standard practice for servers to check in regularly to take orders, refill drinks, or see if we need anything else? This woman claimed to be the manager, but I seriously question how she achieved that title. I truly hope the restaurant owner sees this review and reassesses the situation."
