The menu is extensive, focusing on proteins and sides like plantains, rice, and beans, making it vegetarian-friendly. I ordered the bistec sandwich, tostones con mojo avocado, and the ponche. The food was decent, but for the price of about $30, it was a bit underwhelming. The steak in my sandwich was tough, making it difficult to eat without falling apart. The tostones lacked seasoning, with only a hint of garlic but no salt. The sauce was good, but I had too many tostones for it to make a difference. The ponche, however, was a standout and refreshing after our hike. Overall, I was disappointed in the food, but if it was more affordable, I would recommend it for the generous portions. Next time, I might just come for a drink and some sides, and I'll remember to bring my own salt and pepper."
