"Made reservation in open table for our anniversary, but after driving the 25 minutes to the restaurant, it was closed. Sign on front door said closed for Columbus day. Very disappointed. We can 't leave a review, but was forced to rate the restaurant even though I never ate there. Something is wrong when Open Table can give you a reservation for a restaurant that is closed for the holiday. I don 't know where the fault lies, Open Table or the restaurant, but I won 't use Open Table again. Sent email to open table but it was refused. Tried to leave a review for Open Table on their website it said that I can 't review them until my reservation was honored by the restaurant . . Pretty screwed up!"

"me and a friend came for an early Saturday night dinner ... it sounded so good online (with reviews, menu, pictures, etc) but once we got there, it did not meet our expectations!!! "We called in a take out order yesterday at 6:05 and was told your food will be ready at 6:30. My Wife gets there at 6:45. Every 10 minutes she’s told by the staff that “they’re making it now and it will be out in a few minutes”. Long story short, the food wasn’t ready until 7:45. Am I supposed to believe that this restaurant didn’t know that it couldn’t meet a 25 minute deadline when it took this order? And on Father’s Day no less? I’m quite sure they knew, they just decided to selfishly fatten their pockets and ruin our family’s dinner rather than be honest, upfront and forthright. Perhaps even worse, is that the food was horribly over salted and inedible. They didn’t even have the decency to throw in a churro or an app as consolation for stealing more than an hour of my spouse’s time (not that I would have been able to swallow it). In my opinion, this place should be avoided like the plague."

"What a bad service, I gave this place a second chance a while ago, I bought a total of 12 empanadas and they charged me $53.25, which the cashier, a lady with glasses, said had been a mistake and she couldn't give me the money back so I asked her for some extra empanadas and a few drinks to top off the total. I come back today after a while and order and as soon as he saw a tall man arrive he told me that he had to wait for him to take out his order first?Seriously, I'm looking at him, I just arrived and asked and he doesn't take care of me, I left him and then with a bad attitude he leaves me the receipt on the display case, I sign it and let him know that it's already signed, when I hand it over he tells me yes no I know I don't need to sign it, exactly this type of person doesn't deserve the tip that one leaves for his kindness and it's good that he doesn't need to sign so he doesn't leave what he had marked."

"I have visited the Poughkeepsie location, and I have to say that Golden Corral is far better. First of all, during both of my visits around noon, I thought I was paying the lunch price of $12.75 per person. However, each time I was charged $17.99 per person and was told that it’s dinner all day. That’s not what your sign indicates, and there’s no mention of “Dinner all Day” anywhere to be found. I find that really frustrating. As a result, I didn’t tip the bus girl, as she shouldn’t have to bear the brunt of the extra charges being made. If they’re charging me an additional $5 per person illegally, they can give that money to her. There’s no lunch price displayed when entering the restaurant, yet you suddenly charge dinner prices at noon. Sorry, but your scheme has been uncovered. Don’t expect me to tip anyone."

"This isn't my first time visiting, and I've had issues with the cashier's attitude during my previous visits as well. When I asked for spicy food, she charged me an additional $2, and for two sodas, I was charged $6. She gave me a look that felt quite harsh. The restaurant should address the behavior of staff like this, as it reflects poorly on their reputation."

"I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! They offer a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The customer service is decent, and it’s a quick in-and-out experience. However, I rated the service a 3 because I believe that when I pay for something, I should receive exactly what I ordered. If I ask for gravy without beans, that’s what I should get."

"I accidentally find this place many years ago on Halloween. We had a great time, food and drink then and after . Last week we come back again to watch the soccer World Cup with friends . At the door we was already very welcomed, then they put togethertables for us .Our server was a very nice guy, he did a great job with our tables, wasn?t too much time to time check up onus. Price very affordable. But the check already include $50 tip. We didn?t mind just good to know so you won?t double tip. Myfriend had a birthday recently the song the cake with the fireworks candle made his day ! Thank you for all! I love the vibesthere we definitely come back another time!"

"The food was enjoyable, but the service could use some improvement. The waitress seemed inexperienced in handling customers, as she didn't ask about drinks and walked away after taking our food order. While the food arrived promptly, we had to remind her about our drinks. One issue was that the tip was automatically added to the bill, which could lead to unintentionally tipping twice. Customers should be able to decide on the tip based on the quality of service received, rather than feeling obligated to tip regardless of satisfaction."

"To make matters worse, they've had the audacity to misrepresent their lunch specials and hourly rates. I called the restaurant to verify a claim they made, and they provided me with completely different information over the phone. One day they claim they serve lunch at 4:00 a.m., and the next day it's at 2:00 p.m. I decided to take my food to go because I didn't want to eat there, especially after witnessing a server being rude to an older woman who just wanted to enjoy her lunch in peace. They seem to often double charge or sneak in extra fees on your bill, and if you question them about it, they become defensive or make excuses. I've seen this happen, so I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. My mother and I used to be regular customers and enjoyed our mother-daughter outings here, but they've completely ruined that for us. Given all of this, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. If I could, I would give them zero stars. No thanks."

"I found several reviews mentioning long wait times and average food at El Salvador, but I have to disagree. Although it took a bit of time, this isn’t a fast-food place—everything on the menu is freshly made to order. The pupusas de revuelta were piping hot and fresh, and the tamale de elote con crema was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! After enjoying many pupusas, tamales, and other South American dishes over the last 14 years, I can confidently say that El Salvador offers some of the best I've ever tasted. The food was excellent, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming—we truly felt at home, not like tourists at all."

"They're not as good as they used to be. I don't know why they had to take away the chips and salsa they used to serve years ago when they 1st opened. They replaced it with something that's not really good now. The food is fair. It was so good when they 1st opened and I don't know why they changed that up as well. Why do places do this for? Bring back the way it used to be."

"For my last day in El Paso, Texas my buddy suggested some top of the line Mexican food. We arrived at 8 pm and noticed they closed at 8:30, bad choice. Even though the last customer should receive the same quality as the first customer, this didn’t happen here. The bowl of chips and salsa was for two people and they chips were cold and hard. While being rushed to order, I selected (Mexican Plate), should’ve gotten a freaking burger. Just truly disappointed. Watered down sour cream $5.00, Guacamole $5.00, water free. Well, another one bites the dust??????. Oh, check the burnt pork in the dried taco ?????"

"A terrible service ... I came in with a friend and the server did not bring the menus, so we had to go for them, then she brings an orange juice. The taste of the drink was terrible and did not even taste like orange. We informed her and we asked her tochange it, she said she could not do that, but she could bring water, then I ask her if that means that I will have to pay forthat juice and she said ye, s and then I explain that I will not pay for something I did not drink because of the taste and shesaid it 's fine, then my manager will deduct that juice from my pay (I could not believe it) You guy have a good food, but youhave to improve your customer service because it doesn 't make you want to go back, the actitud of your front staff should be atleast cordial not distant and cold."
