"I would rate this place as mediocre. The hostess is terrible. My wife and I came in for lunch at 2pm on July 6th. It was 95 degrees outside. There were 5 tables available but the hostess said we had to wait 20 minutes. She said we could wait at the bar, which was crowded and no seats were available, or outside which was oppressively hot. So, we just stood near the hostess stand. A few minutes later a party of 3 came in and she sat them immediately. I asked why we had to wait 20 minutes and they were seated immediately. Her answer was because there were no two-tops available. Are you kidding me? You have several empty tables, the lunch rush is over, you have people who want to spend money and you're essentially turning them away? I asked my wife if she wanted to leave, but because of the heat we decided to stay. Then the hostess said that a two-top was getting their check and it should only be a few more minutes. So, we stayed. Mitch brought us drinks and Jordan was our waiter. They were both great. The food was nothing to rave about. I had a roast beef sandwich. The bread was toasted and warm, but the roast beef was cold like it just came out of the refrigerator, so that was weird but not terrible. Jordan offered us iced tea to go, which was great given that it was so hot outside. We left a good tip because it wasn't our waiter's fault that the hostess is clueless. As we were leaving I noticed that at least 4 of the same tables that were empty when we came in were still empty, so the whole sham about not being able to seat us right away was just an insult. That hostess needs to be re-trained or fired. I would not recommend this place, and I would never go back."
