"I order from here often and have never had a bad meal, thankfully. I've seen some mixed reviews, but my experiences have always been great. I also pick up orders through DoorDash, and the owner's son (I can't remember his name) is always really nice whenever I see him. I just wish it was closer to where I live, because even though my small town has some Chinese food options, none of them compare to Golden House!"

"Fast place, great taste. I was recommended this place from a friend and I honestly and so bummed that I didn't know about this place before! The store is clean and set up nicely and everyone there was super friendly. Ordering can be done online through their website so you don't need to stress about butchering the names. I got the noodle and it was delicious. 10 out of 10. It is a little pricey but the portions are good and fill you up. Their spring rolls are also pretty good. They don't taste at all like the ones from panda or other fast places."

"I will not be returning to this restaurant. I had a rude experience on both occasions. The staff was unprofessional, the service was poor, and a child from their family was unruly in the restaurant. Although the food was good the first time, it was not up to par the second time - it seemed like leftovers."

"Stumbled upon Basement, a cocktail bar in Chinatown, NYC, intrigued by its unique front door designed like an '80s vending machine. Decided to check it out on a Thursday night, and surprisingly, it was just us and the bartender. Ordered an Old Fashioned, which turned out to be one of the priciest cocktails I 've ever bought at $25! It was served with a quirky touch 5 pieces of popcorn on the side. Cute, but was it worth the steep price? Probably not, but the experience and the novelty of the place made for an interesting night out."

"As you watch, the chef slams a large roll of dough onto the board, beginning the hand-pulling process. It's captivating to see the noodles being folded and stretched, magically doubling in size and becoming thinner until they are served steaming hot right onto the wobbly counter in front of you. To my surprise, the dumplings were outstanding as well—bursting with flavor and juices, making them an incredible deal at just $3 for ten! They were so delicious that I would travel all the way back to New York just to have more. Overall, it was an excellent experience that I hope to enjoy again soon! Be sure to check them out on Yelp!"
