"We were pleasant surprised at the new and wonderful menu at Saguaro Corners by the new owner, who has other restaurants in the Tucson area. We were skeptical going back, as a year or two ago we had eaten there and had substandard meals. There were three of us. We started with their Poppitos (jalapenos filled with meat and cheese, wrapped in bacon). The jalapenos were fresh and were not as hot as we thought they would be so delicious! All three of us loved our meals. The rib plate I had was fabulous some of the best ribs I have ever had. They were very tender and covered in a very tasty BBQ sauce. Six of the large ribs left plenty for take home (along with some of the ranch beans and creamy-good cole slaw). Another one of us had the fish burger with house-made chips it too was given high marks. Finally, the third of us had the Mac and Cheese, also which was delicious, and plentiful. It lasted three meals actually for them Our waiter, Joshua, was attentive, friendly, and recommended drinks for us, which we liked The retro restaurant offers wonderful views of the Saguaro National Park East with its wrap-around windows in the dining room. There is plenty of outdoor dining with an indoor-outdoor bar, great for beautiful days. Also, big-screen tvs are viewable from all areas of the restaurant. There were a few local pals at the bar while we were there all seemed to be enjoying themselves We were treated to some pleasant entertainment by Angel Perez, a man with beautiful guitar music and a beautiful voice. Loved listening to him, and he wasn't that loud that he drowned out our conversations at our table All in all, we were very pleased at the changes that have been made at this restaurant and can't wait to go back so we can try some of their scrumptious-looking tacos"
