"I 've tried over and over to be impressed with this place. The irony, I keep coming back so must I like something about it. It 's close, it 's not SuperMex, El Torito or Frida 's or Kalavera 's or King Taco. It 's not bland, but it almost is. It 's almost the right flavor palette. It 's latin food, I would assume Mexican but it also seems like it isn 't. Being Mexican myself I have certain expectations. Everything here is very grease and tomato reliant. It is all a very very goopy but nice looking mess with how the salsa is seemingly ladled on top. I 've never gotten away with clean hands eating here. The portions are big but so are the prices, so it seems only less than fair. I scour the menu, still, for the item that speaks to me, maybe I 'll never find it. Maybe Amorcito is just an almost place. Almost good."
