"Used to be a 5* Review... however the previous owners sold this location and the food quality dipped. The toppings are still decent, but the pizza sauce is sickeningly sweet. Tastes like ketchup that met a basil leaf once in passing. The sauce completely detracts from the pizza eating experience. The crust is nice and crispy with a hint of salt and I enjoy it... They still have the diced pepperoni which is nice... If they had left the sauce alone this would still be a perfect review. I always looked forward to having a pizza from here when we visited family... but that has been taken away from me. Reason I don't like the PKs near me in Indianapolis is the sickeningly sweet sauce and now it has spread worse than a virus to other Pizza Kings in the state. Would be a 1 star review from the sauce but the decent toppings and crust and nice staff deserve at least 3*. The only way this pizza was palatable was tossing the pizza on the stove over night when we went to sleep. The next day the cold pizza tastes better than the fresh ever could. Seriously sad about the changes to one of my favorite pizza places in the state... I used to drive for it."

"I have never left a review anywhere In my life but tonight I’m just frustrated. The pizza here is always amazing and I love the breadsticks. However tonight I not only got accused of lying because they claimed they put the Stromboli in the bag but I did not receive the Stromboli wrap. We were super excited to try it for the first time but however when I made it home it was not in the bag. I paid for my order and even tipped $10 because I fully believe in tipping anyone that puts work into whatever job they may have. We live 15 minutes away and I just got home from work to finally spend time with my children after a long day and they said my only option was to come pick it up but they will not refund it or deliver it to us. Everyone that knows me in Elwood knows that I’m a kind, honest, hard working individual that would never lie about a simple Stromboli wrap being in the bag. I don’t even want to post this review but I’m just amazed at their customer service and how I was treated tonight about this situation that could have been easily resolved with a simple refund or them delivering it to us since it was their mess up in the first place. We have never had an issue here before but they just lost our business and we will now be going to the tipton pizza king."

The price per person was quite reasonable, falling between $10 and $20. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was equally exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff, also deserving a full 5 out of 5. Lastly, the atmosphere was delightful, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend trying the 8-Inch Royal Feast—it was a standout dish that I can’t stop raving about!"

"This review is solely about customer service, after our experience over the phone we didn't end up ordering any food. Before calling I looked up the Pizza King menu online, first I tried to order something that was listed on the online menu, but apparently not available at this location. No big deal, I was going to order something different to go along with the special that was again listed on the website. The poor girl that answered the phone was nice, but had to refer questions to someone else. The lady in the background came off annoyed with us about trying to order something that they don't offer, but when I referred to the special listed online, she made it clear that she was very annoyed using a harsh tone that they don't offer those specials. A explanation is fine and wouldn't have prevented us from ordering, but after the way she came at us, we were happy to order elsewhere. Advice to others be sure to look for Tipton's menu specifically they are a franchise and don't follow what is listed on the Pizza King website."

"I ordered delivery from Pizza King last Friday, placing my order at 6 PM. When I called for an update at 7:15 PM, I found out that they hadn't even started preparing my order yet, and it would take at least another hour and a half. Frustrated and with a hungry two-year-old who couldn't wait any longer, I decided to cancel the order. The total for the pizza, sandwich, and tip came to $55, and I was still charged for it. Nearly a week has passed, and I still haven't received a refund. When I've called to inquire, I've been told both times that "they're busy." I've always loved Pizza King, but with their inflated prices and poor service, I'm really disappointed."

I go all over the area with reviews an most are based on burban whiskey, most never involved food , so if I stop after 2 bites an say this is a glorified Jack's pizza from Walmart.It is. "Pizza is not good. I’ve been to many Pizza Kings and the pizzas that we received from this location were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. We were going to eat in, but it took so long to get the food that we decided to get it to go instead. When we got to the car we ate a few pieces and ended up throwing the rest away it was so bad. The Pepperoni pizza had almost no pepperoni on it, but did include a giant lake of grease on top. The deluxe had GIANT chunks of onion and green pepper and so much sauce that it was like soup."
