"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a reservation and we had to wait over minutes for the table. My meal which was a shrimp and scallops was terrible and I have had this meal or times before was always very good. The service was poor, but they are short on help so that I can not complain about. My wife s special was salmon which she loved"

"Great service and extremely nice atmosphere. The food just did not meet my expectations. Margherita pizza was okay , 6.5 out of 10. Crust really has no flavor and the whole thing was flat. The lasagna was better, 7.8, had a very unique taste, definitely above average. The calamari app was chewy and really had no taste, the homemade sauce that came with it was very good. Also the complementary bread on the olive oil was tasty. Maybe our choices were not the right ones last night, thinking about giving t them another try since the service was so good and we really liked the ambiance."

"All very good, good food, good prices, the only bad thing is that the waiters have to pay more attention to the menu, the one who served us didn't know the starters and we ended up asking for the recommendation but it wasn't bad for it wasn't an entrance outside of that it's an excellent place worth what it costs, very nice and cozy."

"I absolutely adore Popolari! It was our first visit tonight, and the food was fantastic. This charming little restaurant really gives you the feeling of being in Italy. Our server, Omar, was exceptional—make sure to ask for him. The owner was gracious and attentive as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we definitely plan to return!"

"The Caesar salad and Strawberry Fields salad are the best I’ve ever had! A nice portion that could be a decent meal. I can’t eat pizza anywhere else now just love the margherita and shrimp truck! Every single time we have excellent service! They offer good suggestions and communicate well, where they’re going and when they’ll be back to the table. "First visit here and it won't be the last! Beautiful restaurant, amazing ambiance and delicious food. Started with wine and their yummy house bread. Could have eaten 10 loaves if allowed. "We were running late and they were totally accommodating to our arrival time. The wine was delicious and the mixed drinks were also great. Our waitress was incredible and knew a lot about the menu and had clearly tried a good amount of the food based on her recommendations. The food was good, not great however. The pasta was al dente which was nice but the flavors were weak and the chicken was under seasoned almost as if it was boiled. The ricotta cheesecake was a cooked perfectly and I would come back just for it. Ultimately a great night and great atmosphere so worth the visit but wish the food was more flavorful."
